Leichhardt Hotel Rockhampton

We found the hotel location as very central to the city centre. Close to shops that had extended hours which came in handy for any late arrival. We were very pleased with our overnught stay.

Excellent value for money for a hotel in the middle of Rockhampton. Limited facilities but overall we will stay again.

The hotel seemed much improved from our previous stay during the Mercure days. The room was freshly renovated in black and red, in a very clean and modern condition. Front desk service was friendly, although the dining times (including room service) close at around 8.30pm - a bit early, but that's Rocky for you. I would definitely consider staying there again in future.

The front staff were extremely helpful and always wore a smile. That makes for a great welcome. Lunch staff were great but the next morning breakfast was very unorganised. The waitress had great difficulty in taking our order. Everyone was still polite.

Room was quite nice and recently done up. Parking is poor and downstairs bar and gaming room still in need of a makeover.

Really well appointed room and excellent dinner but service leaves a lot to be desired. Front counter and food and drink service staff need customer service skills training.

Check in/check out fine. Rooms not overly big but have been recently renovated. Location was suited to walking distance to my business committment.

The Hotel is not modern, lift is slow( a bit) , but most best point is location, close ro pub, bank, riversidewark, information so I prefer to stay 3nights , room is also twins room is (2 queen size bed) spacious.

Clean and tidy, good facilities but desperate for a facelift

Good location for those on a working trip to Rockhampton. Close to good pubs to eat at night also, and walking distance from Quay St Businesses which made travel to and from work a breeze. Aircon didn't work during my stay (hence the "bad" facilities rating), and old worn-out bed left my back rather sore in the mornings. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great, the staff and service was excellent, I personally would recommend staying there.

Very central and good value accommodation

Nice friendly staff ... renovated rooms. Limited unsecure car parking opposite local Police Station so no cause for concern !

The elevators only went to the floor below ours. Lucky we were fit enough to carry our suitcases up to our floor!

Good deal with breakfast, although need to include more tea and coffee in room, bathroom needs to be refurbished but didn't expect much more for a standard room. Beds comfortable

An aging hotel but adequate given its location (Rockhampton).

Hotel right in the centre of town. Room was rather dated. Restaurant was excellent.
