Bathroom very small. Room had tea and coffee facilities and a fridge which was welcome. Check in a little slow but staff were friendly. Great location, nearest tube Queensway less than 5 mins walk away, so handy to get to most places and Oxford Street.
Great bugdet hotel in excellent location. Fresh towels and a kettle and hairdryer, what more could you ask for for the price! There was even a lift which is handy if you are on the top floor. Breakfast is sufficient but nothing fancy. The rooms are small with not much storage but sufficient for a night or two. Would stay again.
Good location, good price, room very small
really nice hotel for the price....great location! really clean and bedrooms cleaned everyday, staff were ok, a little unhelpful at times! Would definetely recommend to friends and would stay here again myself in the future.
We were very pleased with this hotel, there was even a mini bar fridge and tea making in the room. The bed was v comfortable but room a bit small. Great location. We would stay there again and recommend to friends.
Breakfast facilities are challenging at times. Also, when I needed an iron, the staff had no idea where the ironing board was, so I couldn't use the iron. It also costs one pound to rent an iron, something that is provided for free in most hotels. Noise was also an issue.
Room was quite small as was ensuite bathroom but smalls rooms are very typical for London unless you want to pay 200 pounds and upwards! For 45 pounds the room was a bargain. It was also very clean. Continental breakfast was included and was quite satisfying. Not sure about the receptionist, she didn't really seem very interested in doing her job. We weren't really given any kind of introduction and had to guess our way around the place a bit. Location is great, right near two tube stations and Hyde Park. Elevator was a bit iffy I thought I almost got stuck in it once and it ended up drpping me on a completely different level! I would recommend this hotel for people who don't want to get ripped off, which is very common for hotels in a place like London!
The location of the hotel is not very near to the tube station. It took us about 8-10 minutes to get there.
A Decent hotel, worth consedering for a short visit. Reception is very helpful.
The rooms are too small and they should refrain from taking bookings for over two persons. The staff can be a little rude.
I needed a hotel quikley - the only available rooms, that weren't ridiulously priced were in Bayswater. I was dubious, given this area's image as rather run down, and full of budget hotels. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.. The Leisure Inn is well located, close to 2 tube stations. The nearby high street of Queensway has plenty of shops and resturants, yet the hotel is on a quieter street. At the hotel, staff on reception were very polite. My room was clean and well presented. In common with other reviews on here, the room was TINY. I had an ensuite room with 3 beds in it, all to myself. It's was fine for one person, but not sure how 2 or 3 would have managed in a space this size? Breakfast was simple, cereal and toast, but an overall price of £40 per night can't be sniffed at for B & B. This is not the place to stay if you want all the frills that go with a larger hotel; however, if you are looking for a good value, clean hotel in a central London, this would be recommended.
Quite small room. Average staff. Good free breakfast. No room service.
Having read the reviews before booking, we were expecting a small European hotel room but not the incredibly tiny room we got. To clarify, I am Irish so was not expecting a large US sized room. The (almost) double bed was right up against the wall on one side of the room leaving a narrow space the width of a doorway on the other two sides of the bed - not enough for two people (of average height/weight) to comfortable pass each other to get to the closet (with 3 hangers for two people) at the end of the bed. The bathroom door also opened into this narrow space. The chair at the little desk opposite the closet at the end of the bed had to stay under the desk or you couldn't get past it to the closet. The matress was bigger than the base of the bed and hung over the edge slightly. The width of the bed seemed small, with only a few inches to spare between the edges of the bed and the 2 people in the bed. My partner nearly fell out of the bed one morning as he turned over.
The breakfast could be richer, but in general, Leisure Inn is a very good hotel.
Good value for money, but almost no hot water every morning....
Room really really really small but clean, wireless internet wouldnt work in room. breakfast very good with protein(Cheese and eggs) Front desk very poor service and very impersonnel, when I checked in the 2 girls at the desk ignored me since one of them was trying to get her internet provider to move her internet at home. When leaving couldnt get them to order a taxi, would only order a car driven by (their friend I guess) with no meter, only a fixed rate twice what a taxi would charge. Location not that convenient, 10 min walk to tube, however 148 bus which goes to Wesminster Abbey is 5 mins walk and runs 24hours a day.
No toilet or shower in your room, actually hardly any toilets or showers at all (approximately on per ten rooms). Creaky floor. In my opininon not such a good hotel.
Nice cheap hotel. Very small room , but clean and nice. From a swedish point of wiew the breakfast was wery poor. But still ok to get you started in the morning
