Les Suites Taipei Da An

Les Suites Taipei Da An is great for those people who want to get out and about within the main shopping strip/Taipei 101 area. Great location, intimate yet professional accommodations and service and excellent facilities (eg. it's decked out like a lodge in the downstairs area). The only gripes we had was that for a 2 person room, we were only provided with one bathrobe and one pair of slippers and the window was tiny (hidden behind a HUGE curtain to encourage the impression that it's big).

Small boutique hotel, nice modern decor and good overall service. Great location--about 3 min walk to MRT, big department stores and eateries. Standard Room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower cabinet was a bit small but the bathroom had all the basic toiletries. Overall, we enjoyed our stay although the room rate was higher than most 3-4 star hotels.

A cute hotel. Truly boutique in style. No swimming pool, small gym, and other facilities are rather basic. Standard rooms are all very small. Suites are of course somewhat larger. Most rooms and suites have absolutely no view. Temperature in rooms seems quite hot, regardless of the season and in spite of the fact that there are individual themostat controls in each room. Interior decor of hotel and rooms is nice. Location is extremely convenient. Breakfast served in lobbly lounge area is suprisingly genereous and quite good. Service is average to good. Cordless phones in each room double as local mobile phone. Best reason to stay is the convenient location and reasonable price.

The hotel is clean and modern with free internet service besides the lobby (with snack provided). A little bit far from the train station makes it a disaadvantage. The room is comfortable with IPOD speakers which you may charge your own device and play the music. A mobile phone is provided in each room so you can make phone call free during the stay. Not so much facilities in the hotel, there is just a small gym inside. The breakfasts provided are nice.

Furniture a little worn. But general ambience excellent - quiet, subdued and peaceful. Helpful staff made car rental arrangements for us with much efficiency.

I was very pleased with the service and facilities. The rooms were clean and confortable. The staff were prompt to help at any time.

Quite a walk from the nearest MRT but nevertheless a nice boutique hotel.

Although the hotel is beginning to show its age a little, the service was excellent and we had a very comfortable stay. Particularly if I were traveling for business, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in booking it again.

Not a cheap place, but definitely worth it! Stylish boutique hotel, very well located close to MRT and major sights/shopping area. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are cozy, not too big but all in what is required. Interior of breakfast/coffee room gives you the feeling of sitting at home in your own living room. Chique decor, warm colours, good food - I seldomly felt more home than in the Les Suites Da-An.

Breakfast spread could be improved. Food catering services can be arranged with some eateries/restaurants to cater to residents who feel hungry late evening. Seating (eg a bench) facilities can be provided at the lobby for residents who are waiting for pick up.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I think the hotel is a bit overpriced by the standard hotels in Taipei.

I haven´t go any bad things to say about the hotel which I usually have... I liked it a lot! So if you are looking for a nice, small hotel, this is definitely the one to stay at. It is much much nicer than the big five-star hotels, but it is not for familys with children since it is a very quiet and peaceful hotel. I will absolutely stay here the next time I go to Taipei!

Room was great. Breakfast spread was good. Love the fact that there's finger food during tea time. It's a cozy environment.

great place to stay in Taipei, wish it could have more hotels like that, Service is excellent, Rooms tend to be slightly needed refurbishment, not all room types. Breakfast excellent and free afternoon tea and in the lounge laptops everywhere great as well the free Taiwan mobile phone !

This hotel may be small (I believe the word is "boutique") but it is cosy and service is thoughtful. I especially liked that the fitness center was equipped with complimentary water, towels and alcohol swabs to wipe the equipment. Location-wise, the hotel is near to Zhonghsiao-East road which is the main shopping belt of Taipei. But you will have to walk a good 8-10 minutes before you get there. The nearest metro stations are Zhonghsiao-Fuxing and Da-an station. These are also about a 10 minute walk away. If you're out to shop, you might want to consider another hotel that is nearer to a metro. However, if you like the personal attention of a smaller hotel and don't wish to experience the brunt of the hustle and bustle of city life and you're not averse to walking a bit longer to the metro, then Les Suites Da An is the hotel for you. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Great little hotel located in the Sogo shopping and dining area. Location, location & location. Service is great. Would highly recommend. Their Ching Cheng property is newer and evident in the furnishings.

5-star service, with a great front desk staff (ask them for local recommendations on food!). Breakfast can be hit or miss here (better in their other location), but the location can not be beat.

Avoid if you need a gym. Facilities are otherwise very good, but the gym would qualify as "bad."
