Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms, excellent food. Tasteful conversion of historic building to hotel.Within walking distance of town centre.
Standard double rooms are small for two persons and double beds are particularly small. It was was my second visit and this time the bathroom was with a shower -magnificent and powerful, but no place for a soap or shampoo. still - a very beautiful and comfortable hotel with friendly staff who are happy to park the car for you. will stay again - but not in a standard room.
The hotel is fantastic because of it's charm. The old building has been wonderfully renovated, with old and new fitting perfectly together. It's definitely a hotel to tell your friends about.
Excellent hotel but needs a gym facility.
It is an excellent hotel, very tastefully converted from an attractive and very interesting building and with firct class facilities and very friendly and helpful service. I travel a good deal for work but this is one of the most pleasant places I have stayed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
