Liang An Hotel Shanghai

The hotel is old,but rooms are comfort and sapce is enough.If there was a refregiator in the guest room I was happy.It was hard for me to find the hotel. Aroud the hotel,there many small restaurants(it seemed that they were very old and durty.) so,the surcumstances are not so good for the women.

Handy to the Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Railway Station. Breakfast was okay but not included in the price.

5 minute walk from the metro system, Shanghai Station and long distance bus station. Good location. Rooms are also very nice. The decor is faux-turn of the century colonial European - very nice. Buffet untried but only 30 yuan (US$4-5), however the hawker noodle restaurants are more recommended (for the authentic Shanghai experince!). Staff pleasant. Overall Good.

I was very pleased with the service at the hotel and the convenience of booking the hotel. The rate was satisfactory.

I enjoyed my stay at the Liang An Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful although it was difficult to find staff-members who spoke/understood English. The location of the Hotel was convenient to Shanghai railway station so its distance from the main tourist spots was not really a problem.

Located in Downtown Shanghai, the Liang An Hotel represents good value for money. The staff were very polite and helpful and many had good English skills. The hotel is very close to Shanghai Central Railway station, as well as a good range of restaurants and convenience stores, as well as local hawkers offering interesting and cheap food. In terms of facilites the hotel has breakfast dining (not tried), mini bar fridge and free broadband internet which is terrific. Special thanks go to the staff member from IT that helped solved the problem of internet accessbeing cut-off (it required changing rooms) Overall, an above average hotel in terms of value, staff professionalism and location.

I think the hotel was very good, as I get value for the money. Especially I have that good experience. I forgot my camera on the hotel lobby just before I left the hotel. When I remembered, I called the hotel reception. They told me the camera was on the way to the airport. Just before boarding, the camera was in the gate. Great service! I was very happy and promise I will stay at that hotel next time I visit Shaighai.
