A lovely 1910' converted liberty villa set on the lush green slopes of a residential area that rises up to Piazzale Michelangelo, Hotel Villa Liberty is only a few minutes from the Old Bridge and many other world-famous monuments. The elegant building, transformed into a hotel with admirable taste, has preserved many original elements of its liberty decorations and Art Nouveau furnishings. The hotel has 15 very very comfortable rooms and 2 suites . Our guests are particularly charmed by certain rooms that feature exposed beams and frescoed ceilings.

Getting there:By car The hotel is easily reachable by the motorway A1, exit Firenze sud or Firenze certosa. Follow the indications for Piazzale Michelangiolo. By train The hotel is 2,5 km from the Santa Maria Novella railway station. By airplane The hotel is 6 km from the Florence airport.

The hotel has very pleasant "family" atmosphere. The only weakness was the breakfast - even if not very rich, we had to ask for missing cheese or butter, first of two mornings the coffee in pot was absolutely cold as from "yesterday"... But for other qualities and pleasant stuff, and also for good price, I can recommend the stay there to everybody and would come again. Also the walking distance from the historic center (20 min.) is not bad.
Hotel is beautiful. But rooms are very noisy, you can hear everything when your neighbors are talking. Breakfast is very limited compare to what you can expect of an hotel of this standard. It is located a bit far from the city center if you don't have a car.

Great hotel at a great value. It is a little outside of the central part of Florence, but in a very nice neighborhood. The staff are excellent. If you want a great experience, ride the D bus into town.

The hotel staff on nightwatch is not very familiar and it took a while before I managed to check-in; he did not even turn on the heating for my room. However, the rest of my stay there was very pleasant. A good hotel to stay in.
Quiet Hotel, not to far from centre, with just the things that you appreciate in a Hotel like good breakfast, ample parking place and management that speaks excellent English
Very clean and large room, staff all very friendly and speak English. The time to walk into the centre is more likey 20 mintues but is more than made up by the postion of the hotel in a green and quiet area in the morning you can hear the birds singing with very little traffic noise. Ideal if you do not mind the walk into the centre via the river bank each day would stay there again,
