"Some reception Staff unwilling to organise shuttles, spa services or any of even the most basic concierge services but the laziness was amended with friendliness and a fantastic chef! Special mentions for excellent work to said chef, his partner in bar/reception Lonni(?unsure of name) and Dave from the grounds. By Air: Cairns domestic and international airports provide regular and easy access with direct flights from major cities. Limousine, car rental and coach transfers are available from Cairns airport or central business district.
By Road: Kuranda Resort and Spa is located just 35 minutes driving time from Cairns. Head North on Highway 1 to Smithfield, taking the Kuranda/Mareeba Exit (Kennedy Highway). After driving up the range, pass through the only traffic lights and drive for 500m till you see the Kuranda Resort Signage, turn left and you have arrived!
Bus / Shuttle service is available to our door by John's Kuranda Bus for $6.00 per person from the Airport and $3.00 per person from Cairns , phone (041)877-2953.(These prices are subject to change at any time)
