Via Venti Settembre 58/a Rome - Italy
The Liliumhotel is an exclusive small hotel located in an antique building a few minutes away from Via Veneto. It has 14 rooms recently refurbished, offers a very relaxing atmosphere and the young staff welcome the guests with plenty of care. Every room is smartly furnished, ornamented with a flowers design and painted in a different colour matched to a flower. This simple but fine design, gives the rooms a unique charm that makes a difference providing them with a warm mediterranean atmosphere. In the National Geographic Traveler magazine, Apr. 2003 issue, on page 59, you can read: The owner of Lilium, Annibale Batosi, is an abstract painter with exuberant and secure eye for interior decor. Opened in Sep. 2002 the hotel occupied one floor of a 1924 building on a busy street. Australian songbirds welcome you to the lobby, and serene blue hallways lead to high ceiling rooms with painted armoires and color-coordinated with the sheets. Everything in the sunny place is nicely up-to-date; firm mattresses, air conditioning in every room, well-conceived bathrooms. Check in and you will be among the first to stay at a hotel that's earning a serious following. In the room you'll find: bathroom (with shower), TV, phone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, refrigerator, 24h DSL Internet access plug (free laptop loan one hour a day) . The Hotel has two kind of rooms: Standard rooms (with view and double glass windows) Superior rooms (very quite with nice flowering terraces)

Getting there:From Fiumicino airport: you can get the express train to Termini station (central station) then you can take bus #38 or #92 and get off after three stops, or take a taxi (5-10 Euro), or take a walk (10 minutes). Coming by car: you will arrive at the "Grande Raccordo Anulare" or "GRA", a sort of ring street surrounding Rome. Take it and drive to an exit named "Nomentana" on the north-est side. Exit there and take Via Nomentana (street) in the direction of centre. After 12 km you will arrive at "Piazza di Porta Pia", the entrance to centre (you can recognize it because it is surrounded by ancient walls and you will pass at the right of the big door planned by Michelangelo), enter and continue until the first crossing (Via Nomentana is now called Via Venti Settembre and crosses Via Piave). After the crossing, you will find the Liliumhotel in the first building on the right hand side of the street.

The hotel is very pleasantly decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff were all courteous and helpful and happy (and able) to advise on any questions.
Excellent little hotel. Great value for money. Helpful friendly staff. BUT very hard to find at first. Would be very helpful if they had better signs! Once you find it though - it's perfect.
Nice atmosphere. Good service. Good value for money.
A lovely hotel with a distinct character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Internet access in the room was very useful. I would definitely return.
Can only recommend this charming little hotel. Walls are a bit thin and rooms tend to be slightly small, which can be a problem if you are travelling with kids, but no doubt I would again stay there. Great service, good standard breakfast, availability of free laptop for internet connection in the room, and only 10 minutes walking distance to Roma Termini (train station). This is not the best area to go out for dinner, so you will have to walk for 15-20 minutes to get to better areas.
Fresh flowes every day, friendly and helpful personnel and the delicious freshly pressed orange juice make of this hotel a pearl in the hot city of Rome.
One of the most lovely hotels I have ever stayed at. I am travelling by myself and had a small single room which was perfect. Hotel was very pretty and tranquil. Staff are so friendly and helpful, great location, lovely breakfast and lobby area. Cannot recommend highly enough. I will be staying here again.
It's hard to say enough about this little hotel, which is a convenient 10-minute walk from the station on a lovely wide, safe street (across the street from buses to anywhere). The people were very friendly and helpful in all sorts of ways (American plug converter, general touring advice). The price was amazing. But the hotel itself was so unbelievably charming... Beautiful floors and modern fixtures throughout, with a light, airy, sunny feel and the constant smell of fresh flowers. The bed was huge and firm. The breakfast room (and breakfast!) is a dream. I'll rave about this hotel to anyone heading for Rome--it's a breath of fresh air in a hectic city. I felt like a princess staying there.
Wonderful stay. It was a small but convenient room and bathroom. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast was delicious (perfect coffee and fresh pressed orange juice). We used the possibility of borrowing a laptop. Location was good – close to the railway station and close enough to the city centre. We would definitely stay at Lilium Hotel again.
Really nice! The decoration is great and the staff are very helpful and nice. The rooms so confortable and great big beds.
This hotel is a treasure. I was thinking of keeping it too myself but that would be unfair. My single room I stayed in was a little pokey (the only negative of my stay, but I glanced into one of the doubles and they looked very comfortable) but the facilities were excellent -safe, fridge with free bottled water, good shower, spotlessly clean, BBC world, free internet and use of a laptop to take to your room! The decor was lovely from the beautiful polished wooden floors to tasteful furniture. Breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice, lovely coffee, cheeses, meats, cereals etc. The breakfast room and other common room were beautiful - made you want to linger over breakfast and gaze over the bustling street below. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and special mention must go to the lovely girl in the breakfast room. So sweet and so friendly - she put me in a happy mood every morning. Stay in this hotel - you'll not regret it.
Great place! Nice people; clean; ok area; breakfast is good (fresh orange juice + capuccino), but the same every day.
This is a lovely little hotel we enjoyed our stay there. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful in helping find our next accomodation.
An excellent choice and one which we will repeat next time we visit Rome
Very clean and friendly hotel located about twenty minutes walk from the 3 fountains and ten minute walk from the Termini Station.
Friendly staff. The free in-room internet service was appreciated and a plus. We would stay here on any future visit.
Very friendly, clean and beautiful.
In a nice area, fairly close to Train Station by Rome standards. Immaculate hotel with good staff. Would stay there again with little or no hesitation.
I arrived early and my room was quickly made available. As I walked to my room I noticed the cleaning staff down on their knees scrubbing the floor. Lilium is exceptionally clean and has friendly, helpful staff. The loaner laptop on their DSL internet connection was a treat. They had icons on the desktop for shuttles and other important local information. I had them arranged a shuttle to the airport for my departure. I searched hundreds of hotels in Rome and I doubt that I could find a better one for the money, especially any closer to the the sites.
Gorgeous hotel if you like something with a bit of character rather than a large traditional place. Everywhere was spotless and staff were genuine and friendly. Overall a great hotel in a great location.
