Hotel Linda is a monumental building that was recently renovated. The hotel is an excellent starting point for discovering the many charms of Amsterdam. In addition to the large number of cosy restaurants, cafes, the famous "Albert Cuypmarkt" and the excellent shops in "De Utrechtsestraat", the entertainment centre with its many discotheques, the Opera and the city''s museums are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Getting there:can easily be reached by public transport: From Schiphol the train to Amsterdam Central Station or RAI. Then take tram nr. 4 or 25, stop Stadhouderskade. Hotel Linda lies on 50 m. from the stop.

Car parking:Car park available at costs of € 25.00 per 24 hrs.
Child Policy:Children until the age of 4 years old can stay free of charge in parents room in existing bedding.
Solid 2 star hotel within walking distance of the Centre of town. Linen, bedding and bathroom were very good I would have rated higher on cleanliness but carpet a bit grubby. Complimentary bottle of wine in room was a a lovely touch. Front desk guy was polite and welcoming. I would use this hotel again.
Would be better if the room had a opening window or ventilation as it got a bit stuffy in the room, also the big spotlight shining directly into the room got a bit annoying during the night.
Will not stay at this hotel the next time. Reasons: - Too much noise from the street - Shared door between two rooms without any sound isolation - I could hear everything my neighbours were talking about. - Non-smoking rooms are declared but there was a smoke smell in the room and ash on the external window sill - Room is dusty - TV remote was VERY dirty Several positive points: - breakfast is included into room price - close to city center (20-25 mitues of walking from Central Station)
An excellent hotel. Not expensive and offeres you everything you need being on holidays in Amsterdam. I definately would recommend it.
