Good location but very small rooms. Quite helpful
It's no luxury hotel, but definitely the one of the best for the £30 a night I paid for it. No lift and narrow, steep stairwells, so not for the physically challenged. I'm 5'11" and 175lbs, so shower was just big enough for me, wouldn't recommend for anyone larger. Relaxing night's sleep, perfect location, literally 3-5 mins for both Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations. Edgeware Road station is about a 12 minute walk. Brekafast was boiled eggs, toast and jam, juice, tea, coffee - standard cheap hotel fare. Overall experience was definitely good for the price, would recommend as a cheap place to stay.
The staff are very friendly. Clean hotel. Actually quite close to shopping area (we just discovered), could ask for direction for ease.
The room was right next to the breakfast room and was VERY LOUD in the mornings, and the sound proofing has obviously not been done well, if so at all with all the slamming of doors! But I had two double beds to myself, next time I will just take ear plugs.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a relatively cheap place to stay in Central London. We had a Quad room (2 double beds for a family of 4). The facilities were sufficient for our needs and the service was friendly. The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station.
The room was small for a family of 4 but ok. Interior design is good but poorly executed for example bathroom water runs out of bathroom into foyer. Breakfast is a continental breakfast but breakfast room small so get in early as fills up quickly and may take a while to make your toast.
Overall a good little hotel in a quality location, The good is the location, the access to the tube, the breakfast room, and the plasma TV in the room, the bad lots of stairs, no lifts and I had booked a double bed and received two singles
we have booked a family room with 2 adults+2 childs. Room was too small.Wifi facility was due to week signal 90% not available due to bad whether conditions(according to receptionist). We had to isolate the door of the toilet with towels, else the water was coming out of the showers.Breakfast was very moderate. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is 100 meter close to paddigton subway station.
For the (internet) price I paid this hotel was very good value. The room could do with some redecoration, and the shower room/toilet was an odd layout (childrem could sit normally on the toilet but medium to tall adults would be at 30 degrees).
We stayed in this hotel for three nights. Location is great, short walk to the bus and nearbye shopping and resturants. The hotelroom was clean, a little too small, but that was ok. The price was ok too. What was not ok, was the service. We asked for an extra blancett because it was cold in the room and an extra pillow. This was not possible to get. It took two ours to get a toiletpaper, and they could not get us a taxi to the bus station. Hopefully this things are going to be better, we would love too stay here again if it does.
For what you pay the value is very good. The room was adequate for my needs, TV, Coffee making facilities and a clean bathroom. The bed needed a new mattress, but I did not have back ache the next morning so it was not that bad. The breakfast was good. Choice of three cereals, toast and boiled eggs. I would stay again as it very good value for London. To pay these prices one can not expect the Ritz!
Excellent location, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Oxford street. Very close to Paddington station with lots of busses. Rooms are nice and clean, and the breafast is ok, coffee, tea, toasts, juice, cereals and eggs. There are some restaurants where you can get a salad at the same street. We'll stay there again!
