Linden Suites Hotel Manila

I stayed here on Dec 31, 2010 and 2011. I noticed several downgrades in their offerings. Only basic dinnerware, for example, are available in the kitchen, i.e. no pots, knives nor other cooking utensils. They offered those for a fee. Also, the breakfast buffet had fewer choices, no more cheese tray. Nevertheless, it's still an acceptable fortress against New Year's smog and noise caused by firecrackers.

I did a lot of research about hotels in this area, and I am extremely satisfied with my stay here. I loved the location and it was so close to SM. We walked there it was so close. There a small restaurants behind the hotel, which was nice because I was so tired from the plane ride. I will stay here again in the future, no doubt about it.

Incomparable staff, cleanliness and security. Close to everything the traveler might need in metro Manila. A great exercise facility, spa and pool. This will be my hotel of choice when I visit Manila.

I chose this hotel so that I could have a Suite for small business meetings.I aso knew the location to be within short walk of two malls. This was important since the hotel retaurant was very poor

I stayed at a one-bedroom suite for 4 days and the hotel room was really nice and the location is just perfect because it was right in the middle of ortigas center and behind Megamall. However, everything has to be paid in this hotel including use of extra blanket, extra pillow, extra kitchen utensils, etc. Also, there is no free wifi! Concierge was just okay. They came across to me as a little arrogant, very strict..like they own the hotel. The staff at the Spa, Leah and the lady masseuse, the housekeeping staff, were better in manners. They made me feel like a valued guest. Will i be a returning guest? I am not sure. All I know is that there are a whole lot other hotels right there in Ortigas Center.

You never know what your going to get sometimes but we were very impressed. Our room was very big and clean. Right in the heart of the city. Accessible to a few malls and some great restaurants. If you are traveling around the country this is a good place to relax. Pool was nice and had a decent view from the hot tub.The building was very secure and the staff was great. We will be staying here again when we return for sure.

Is a old hotel, still kept at OK condition, but do not expect much out of it. Front desk service staff are cheerful.

We now stay at the Linden every time we go to Manila on business and it is like returning home. Clean comfortable and friendly. We usually visit 3 times each year. We have not had a bad experience during any stay. We have had a variety of rooms and found all of them to be more than adequate. We always look for the Linden as our preference and find the price quite good on most occasions.

Reasonably good location, safe & quiet, and also within walking distance from various shopping malls. Friendly staff at reception / housekeeping. Buffet breakfast is good enough to start a day.

This was our 4th stay at the Linden and find it ideal for us. The rooms are comfortable and each time appears to show signs of general maintenance being carried out. Staff are helpful, breakfast is good and location is great being walking distance to the SM Mall. small supermarket next door. We have had both a 1 and 2 bedroom suite and it provides us with all we require. We now take a taxi from the airport providing it has a meter and have found it a much cheaper option.

Great value for a centrally located hotel. Very nice huge suite. Staff very helpful. Downsides: internet is not free and not fast. Buffet is more for locals than western tastes, but adequate. I will return.

The 2 BR unit we stayed in was very spacious. I recommend it for meeting family and relatives. The complementary buffet breakfast was ok. There were lots of choices and taste was acceptable. I would, however, suggest for more effort to clean the floor :-)

Very quiet and peaceful! Clean sheets and good housekeeping service. I will definitely come back again

Accessible location. Not 5-star but is good and affordable if you are staying with your whole family. Overall, it was fine. Not much hassle during our stay.

my stay with my friend at the LINDEN SUITE can only be described as excellant staff ist class,friendly,helpful,pleasant,and attentive.Facilities very good and thoroughly enjoyed their buffet style breakfast and excellant evening meals (even though wine list limited)Location not perfect but everywhere easily accesable by cheap taxis .Suites and hotel very clean and priced very reasonably ,will visit again end of year

The sauna room facility needs to be properly maintained/refurbished. Should provide free Wi-fi/internet as part of the deal.

Best thing that happened on our trip in Manila was finding this hotel. Great service, staff, buffet, and most of all the location is very safe and quiet. We were only to stay here for a day or two..ended up staying here for 5 days. Can't beat the service and hospitality of the staff. The amenities felt like home. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Manila.

pleasant surprise after a long dusty ride into the city. wonderful welcome. hotel very clean and fresh. family suite was spacious and efficient. excellent stay except for the huge cockroach eating my roomate's toothbrush. fast little bugger. then at night a rustle and gecko? on the desk. hotel was apologetic and sent up new toothbrushes and water.

I liked the hotel linden and the staf very much. the location was great too overall I like manile and the philippens and would recomend everyone to go there.

It would be good to have the cost of internet included in the room price. Approx 12 USD for i day usage
