C/ Lineros, 38 14002 Córdoba, Spain
Lineros 38 Hostel’s airn is to discover this crossbreeding with its genuine “Mudejar” architecture and its “Andalusí” flavour, achieving a really original content. There cannot be the slightest doubt about the fact that Lineros 38 Hostel is one the best places for getting closer to this small paradise, the city of Cordova. Very few places adjust so well to the dream image of the “Andalusí” Cordova. Charming rooms, wall light blended with lights and shadows, stairways and windows with beautiful horseshoe arches upon a reddish background. Stone, Moorish brick walls and a wide colours scale, they mix together in a stimulating and artistic way, sample of the recent rehabilitation. While its architecture brings to mind the exotic aroma of the “Andalusí” houses, everything shut up in its inside proclaims the cheerful and jovial character of its hosts. Bluish walls and adorned with forms and colours, which are as natural as bold… A magical dream place of enjoyment makes up the cosy atmosphere of lounges, which are almost always pervaded with the smoke and scent of herbs burning. And all this takes place around a big and beautiful glazed ceiling. One cannot think of Cordova without taking into consideration the “Andalusí” culture which gives special nature and beauty to the town, and whose origin and greatest magnificence lies in its fruitful and stimulating crossbreeding among Muslims, Christians and Jewish.

Nicely decorated and relatively inexpensive. Walking distance to the cathedral.
Good located hotel. Small rooms and rooms on the sight of the street are noicy. Earplugs are recommended. The only real annoying thing is that each time you want to enter the hotel; you have to call to open the door. You don't have keys for the entrance to the rooms.
had expected to be just cheap and cheerful - was cheap and far more than just cheerful - atmospheric without being corny, well situated, quiet street, secure - very good value
Very helpful staff (Gloria), interesting Moorish decor and furnishings, good location. Very good advice on local restaurants. Recommended.
