compac rooms, was ideal for a couple 2 get away for a night.Rescue helicopter could be noisy as close 2 hospital.
We recently stayed at Livingspace, Dunedin for three nights. The rooms are great value and the place had everything we needed. New towels every day, shared lounges and kitchen spaces, a computer room and even our own movie theatre if we wanted! However we found the service from the front desk lacking a bit, not much of a welcome when we arrived and when I asked if they could book us a taxi to go out for dinner - I was pointed to the "taxi phone" and told to ring it myself. The room that we had was on the Castle Street side of the building and was very noisy with trucks travelling south along what is the main highway and an "Energy Factory" that started up very early in the morning. We have previously stayed at Livingspace but our room was on the Hanover Street side last time and was much quieter! So all up - great value and a great place to stay, but see if you can request a room on Hanover Street or around the back of the building!

Decent hotel, good value for money, the beddings had a unfresh feeling, but allright.
Very simple and basic accomodation, clean and fresh. Central for Dunedin amentities. For the night we spent there it was all that was needed.
Compact, convenient, u will find everything u need for a comfy short nights away from home
A very clean and well laid out hotel.
Very contained and comfortable. Close to city centre and Otago Uni hostel. Lots of student noise at night as was the end of orientation week but did not keep me awake past about midnight.
Superb value for money. Bathroom module is 'interesting'. Excellent fscilities near tyo the 'Octagon'
Everything is perfect in this hotel. It is just good for a night's stay though as one would have a hard time trying to get some sleep due to the noise of the energy factory in front of it where a certain annoying machine sounds on certain times at night. I'm not sure if most Dunedin hotels are quite pricey because this hotel costs more than my luxurious 3-night great lake views with modern facilities Queenstown hotel stay. Otherwise, the hotel is located at the city centre and the room is clean, with just the right room size as well as having modern bed & bath facilities.
I found this accommodation very comfortable and staff were very helpful and welcoming
Clean and warm. Best sleep I have had in ages. Will definitely stay again
Nice hotel with friendly staff - everything user friendly and comfortable.
Nice friendly staff willing to give local knowledge. Nicely furbished and tidy
Room nice and clean. Easy to locate. Car park under cover. Room not small but not large, ok for a nights stay.
Great - this time the receptionist was very polite and friendly. Very handy location. Nice and cheap. And rooms are all you need.
It was very handy and good rooms. However the receptionist was snotty and rude.
Stayed two nights although small enough for what we required. Handy location Walk to everywhere. Enjoyed our stay would stay again
Affordable accommodation that has everything you need, can be a little noisy due to road traffic and people in the corridors at times and the housekeeping comes around rather later (approx 5:45pm on both days of my stay). But would definately stay there again.
Very good place to stay, nice and central, when visiting Dunedin again we'll be back.
Located in an industrial area the rooms on the front were noisy. Rooms basic but adequate, clean, no complaints
