Very good. All you need in the centre of Christchurch. Parking right outside (metered). I would definately go back and recommend to all. Clean & confortable.
Room is small - need to climb over partner to get out of bed. Staffing is minimal - they seem overworked.
The best place is the 4th floor it is peacefull,The studio rooms a basic and smaller but clean and could get a good nights sleep. The staff were very helpfull and made my first stay in New Zealand a good one, The Hotel is well placed for the centre as it is only a short walk away i would stay again.
Nice rooms but very hot this time of year could do with fans in rooms. Was told it was noisy and we agree it was very noisy if you want sleep not a place to stay.
Great central location. some noise but we were told about this at time of booking,in a very vibrant area of the city.excellent value for money and would stay here again.
Outstanding accommodation option. Well done!!
There was no hot water for a shower in the a.m. I was told it would be fixed in an hour - 24 hours later still broken so then I requested to change rooms. Room was also extremely small and not serviced overnight.
We loved our stay - being close to town, restaurants and bars. The room is very compact but has great facilities, with heaps of storage space. Parking was fine but we stayed early week nights, it may be more difficult on a Fri/Sat.
Close to everything. Almost opposite the bus terminal which is great for sightseeing, airport bus etc. Clean, good facilities. Would definitely stay there again.
In general we were pleased with the room and with the staff. Parking is a big problem. Also, we found it difficult to keep the the shower (which appeared to be quite modern) from flooding the bathroom floor. A shower curtain is needed. The room was small but ok for us.
March 2006 Funky cool no nonsense design. Young social location for you older ex-backpackers. Easy downtown access. Plenty of restaurants and cafes.
The room is tiny but clean. Internet is available all rooms. However it's not free. Hotel charges if you connect Internet even just a minite even though it's system tells no charges. I really don't understand it !!
this place is awesome. The staff were A++++we enjoyed it so much we are going back again in december. We really couldnt have had a nicer stay.Every thing about the living space is awesome.Hubby and i had a studio room which did us fine for our stay, very compact though so i suggest if you want a larger space book an apartment,Security was impressive and we always felt safe.Cant say more just absolutely loved it.Thankyou
There was no off street parking avalible so we had to drive around to find a public carpark. Which also left us always woundering if our car was ok. The bathroom fan went constantly and was very noisy especially at 3:00AM The cleaning staff were very frendly and did a great job. but the counter staff we not very helpful and it was hard to understand their english.
Very convenient and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Te hotel was centrally located and closeby to well priced restaurants.
A great place to stay in central Christchurch. Room serviced daily to a high standard. Fantastic facilities available if you choose to use them e.g computer suite, kitchens, movie theatre. Room was small but adequate.
Nice friendly place to stay. Very suitable for backpackers
This represents outstanding value for money. I will definitely be booking into Livingspace again.
Overall, the hotel is good and convenience. I would like to book the same hotel next time.
Fantastic place, great location, very reasonaby priced. Very courteous staff. It may pay to ask for "queen size" studio as some double bed units are a bit small, but even the small units are great value. This hotel is located about 5 minutes from Cathedral Square and plenty of good expensive and budget restaurants within 5 minutes. My wife and I (69+70 years old) reckon it is the best value accomodation on the South Island. When the staff found out it was our 45th wedding anniversary they gave us abottle of wine to celebrate.
