Getting there:Coming from Sydney and Dubbo, drive onto Argent St [city main st] turn right at the second set of lights at the post office. Drive along Chloride St. through the round about pass the Sturt park and we are on the corner of Mica and Chloride St on your left hand side. Coming from Adelaide on the Barrier Hwy cont on to Williams St turn right onto Chloride St look out for the Lodge on your right hand side before crossing Mica St.
Check-in Procedure:Check in at reception. Reception hours are 07.30 till 21.00. Late check-ins are available please contact us in advance.
Car parking:Off street parking is available for all units with the majority having space available directly in front of room.

Tiny room with noisy a/c & a cold shower in the morning. This place could be beautiful but right now it needs major surgery.
Room was a bit tired and needed some maintenance. Poor hot water in mornings. Also the complimentary drink was not offered. Otherwise satisfactory.

Rooms very small, difficult to get into shower.The rooms were clean enough given the age of the units, cockroach in our shower which due to humidity could be expected.Very nice cooked breakfast,helpful reception. Would not like to stay more than one night.
The staff are very friendly and the motel is in an ideal location. Quiet and close walking distance to the centre of town. Worth staying at and is excellent value for money.
We are a family of 5 and found this hotel to be really good. We have travelled extensively throughout Aust staying in 5 star and 3 star hotels. Regarding accommodation in Broken Hill, there is relatively nothing for families. This place was great as we didn't have to book 2 rooms, it had a microwave and toaster for breakfast, it was clean (though very 70's in appearance) - though after driving a long distance it was a welcome oasis. The people that run it were really nice and welcoming. It was pretty central to everything and a nice quiet location away from the highway.

Not the cleanest motel we have stayed in. Friendly and accomodating reception. Definately would not recommend using the BBQ. Luxury rooms located within the main building which was once a house, so not alot of privacy. Lovely old building and heritage rooms decorated nicely. Bathroom of the room we stayed in very very small - barely enough room to turn around, let alone get dried and dressed after showering.

Nice folk, but no hotel in the room, although blurb said there would be. Plus breakfast was delivered late, and toast was burnt.... Good spot, and they are in the process of upgrading the rooms.
The cord for toaster and kettle not long enought to reach power out let. Have toaster in sink when toast bread.

Had a lovely stay. Very pleasant staff and adequate facilities. We were travelling from Brisbane to Adelaide and had no intention in staying in Broken Hill on our return trip but due to the nice atmosphere and locatlity of the motel we changed our minds and had a second stay
Motel units were basic but clean, the main house was beautiful (you could stay in the house but was more expensive) it was great to sit in the garden and gaze at the house and surrounds. walking distance to main street and some attractions. We would stay there again.
