Getting there:Best way to the Hotel Lombardi, once you arrive by train: At central station of Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.), take the exit on the left hand side, where the pharmacy is, cross the road, turn right (you should pass a Mac Donald) and take the first left hand turn onto Largo Alinari (Via Nazionale). Next left is Via Fiume and you will find our Hotel Lombardi 30 metres up on the right hand side.

A small Hotel with very friendly staff. An excellent coffee is served at breakfast. The rooms are small, but clean. The Hotel is ideal for those who need to be at the Congress and for exploring the city of Florence. The narrow street outside can be noisy as city busses park there and they create noise when starting up.
Only little bit noisy from the street side but nothing can be done. Otherwise great for 2* hotel. Jana

The only problem is my room is close to the frontdesk and the wall is really thin! I was waken up by the noise everynight!
This hotel is all you will really need. We were out and about most of the time . Very close to the railway station and all the sights are within walking distance. Rooms are basic, but reasonably priced for a hotel in the heart of Florence. Nice continental breakfast included. We took the train from Pisa Airport to Florence and walked to the hotel and all the sights, shops and museums from there.
I would recommend this hotel to those who want the cheap price with the good service and location. Hotel has only 10 rooms but all is very clean and the staff is very helpful. ik would come back and stay again in the near future.
Large spacious and tidy room. Very small but clean bathroom. Very convenient to train station. Nice breakfast, great coffee!! Excellent service. Great value for money. Would certainly stay again.

Very close to the station, room is good except the shower room is explicitly small even for the normal guy. In conclusion, the hotel is worth to spend the night at Florence.

Florence is a beautuful city. The hotel is very close to the train station which is great if you are tired from a long journey. It is also walking to distance to all the great sights of the city. The staff were very friendly and the rate was fantastic. The only complaint is, I wish I had spent more time there. I am recommending the website to everyone I speak to. Thanks again.
This small boutique hotel was charming with each room named after a famous artist. The staff were very helpful and even telephoned a tour group for us and helped us book. Internet point right at reception was very handy. Lovely breakfast room and good breakfast. Fantastic location.
