I HAVE STAYED AT THE LONDON BRIDGE HOTEL FIVE TIMES, AS ALWAYS, FANTASTIC CAN'T FAULT A THING!!
What a fantastic find. So close to the underground and within walking distance to Southbank. The Borough markets were just around the corner with a wonderful selection of multicultural and local food. The room was a bit small but the bed was so comfortable and breakfast was included wich was a real bonus. We will definately stay here again.
Location was fantastic, just round the path from London Bridge Tube station. Also easy access to St Pancras station for Eurostar. Staff were very helpful. Rooms small but comfortable. We would stay here again when in London.
Very clean,we had a lovely stay here.Plus it's nice cos it was next to "the Shard"
We have stayed at the London Bridge a few times over the past four years and have always been happy with the service, location, price and the breakfast. This time, however, all our expectations were surpassed. Upon arrival we were given an upgrade to a larger superior room with bathrobes, fruit and complimentary water all adding to the experience. We would recommend the hotel to anyone, despite the construction of "The Shard" happening near the hotel. No noise was experienced inside the hotel, and its location in close proximity to the Underground, Borough Market and a bus direct to the London Eye and Covent Garden is hard to beat.
Lovely, clean hotel, good size rooms, close to station and attractions. Construction site opposite but didn't hear the noise in my room. Street blocked off at one end so may be a bit inconvenient for a while.
This is a great hotel in a great location, a few minutes walk from London Bridge Station. Staff are always friendly and service is great.
my sister and i really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.staff were very helpful and obliging...preparing a packed Breakfast for us to take to the Royal Wedding as we needed to leave prior to breakfast time at the hotel.Beds were very comfortable..duvet soft and cosy. great to have our own iron/ironing board and the offer of keeping perishables in the hotel kitchen fridge.all in all a very nice hotel and one we would recommend to others.
We stayed here for easy access to the O2. Tube station is only a couple of minutes walk for Jubilee/Northern lines which was perfect for us. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice and friendly staff. Room had comfortable beds, well stocked mini-bar and all other usual comforts. Our room was very close to passing train line, but this did not disturb us during the night at all. Within 3/4 minutes walk of London Bridge attractions (Clink, Golden Hinde, Globe). There is a large building project outside which may be noisy during a week day, but this did not affect us.
The hotel is excellent; clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfasts, comfortable beds and a very convienient location, being right next to the station. London Bridge station has a range of shops, including an M&S and there are 2 bars under the hotel. Borough Market is very close and it was a far nicer area than we anticipated. Although there was building work going on opposite, we were nopt disturbed. (room 107). Fellow guests on the same floor reported more noise, but our room was quiet. The one difficulty we had was finding it. We arrived by car and to access the hotel you have to go through the station. The road has a 'no entry except for buses' sign, which kept us driving around for nearly an hour! Since the website does not mention this, fellow travellers may like to be aware that they need to ring the hotel for directions when they arrive at the station. Apart from that, it was excellent, and we will definitely use the hotel again.
Very pleased with the hotel services and staff, cooperative, assisting and supporting. Second stay and highly recommended
Location was great near London Bridge, rail etc close by, so was lots of resturants. Staff were very helpful. Room was quite large and papers etc were provided. Breakfast was included which was a tasty buffet, very enjoyable. The hotel also had specials on meals at the resturant. Wifi, included which was great. Plenty to do in the area, as well as lots of places to eat.
Fantastic experience. Cannot fault the hotel or staff in any way. Without doubt would stay here again.
Great hotel in a fantastic location. Right next to tube/train station, 5 mins walk to Clipper boat for the O2, 5 mins to Vinopolis and 2 mins to Borough Markets. Our room was on the 4th floor and was very modern and clean with a great view of the london skyline. The rooms are small but average size compared to other hotels in London at the same rate. Get the breakfast rate if you can - it kept us going until late afternoon!
This is the second time we have stayed here. This time we stayed with our 12 month old baby. The facilities were great. The location is great. A 1 minute walk to the metro and bus station. Walking distance to London Bridge and Tower of London. Great eateries within walking distance. Would stay here again.
This hotel was really central and good for sight seeing. I loved the decor and the big, comfy (though very soft) bed. Staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was pretty good too.
Nice , Clean and a very nice breakfirst
Conveniently located close to Borough Market, Design Museum, Tate Modern, Tower Bridge, London Bridge tube station, RV1 bus stop for connection to Covent Garden and excellent local restaurants. Hotel offers an excellent breakfast, has quiet rooms at back of hotel and offers fantastic weekend rates for its location.
Some might consider the room a little on the small side but the wardrobe and drawer space more than compensate. staff breakfast and location are excellent. Would not choose to stay anywhere else in London unless I had to.
We had an excellent stay, the breakfast was really good. The hotel is ideally situated near the London Bridge Station and Borough Market with stalls selling food from around the world and plenty of places to eat. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, we would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay there again.
