low budget hotel, you do not really expect much to sleep and mattresses must be replaced! friendly staff and excellent location! I would go back
A really confortable and warm environment, in a very convient place (only a 3 minute wlak from the tube), in a beautiful neighbourhood and surroundings, and in an affordable price! Highly recommended!
Great cheap hotel, nice staff and being upgraded, only thing missing waa a secure luggage facility but they did alow storage of luggage in a main room
Pros -Staffs are friendly. Services are good. -Location is good. Walking distance to 2 tube station, Bayswater & another station on Central line. -Nearby Bayswater station is busy with restaurants & shops. Cons -Walk a little longer from bayswater station. 10-15 mins. -No internet. Internet access only near Baywaters station. Overall Hotel is Value for money.
what made me uncomfortable was the bed, it's too narrow and soft. hope next time they could change the mattress.
Very basic and simple but clean. Situated in a nice part of London. A good choice if you want travel with a low budget.
I had booked the room a long time before in order to be sure of getting a nice twinroom in the peiode, never the less was me and my adult daughter strored away in a little room on the third floor. We will never use this hotel again.
Good location only five minuts walk from the station. Would definite stay there again, great location in a nice area and friendly staff to a low price. Though it's not a five star hotel, the rooms contains what you need, a bed and in our case a little bathroom, but you get what you pay for.
A good hotel for the price, rooms are small, but ok, and 5-10 mins. walk to underground.
Good for location and non-fussy people. Bring your own kettle and teacups as it isn't provided in your room. Bedroom is simple (no fridge, no daily cleaning & change of towels) but comfortable enough. Breakfast is simplest with 2 loafs of bread with butter and jam, weak tea or awful coffee and low quality orange squash. Value for money, anyway.
Hotel is very basic, but clean and provides good budget accommodation
very good location, excellent staff, minimal continental breakfast
Beware of the many schools that uses the hotel. They can sometimes make up some noise. But overall - a fine hotel at the price.
This hotel was obviously under renovation when we stayed in November 2006. The Bayswater area is an excellent neighborhood and easy access to the Tube. The surprise treat for us was that both rooms we booked, triple and a quad, actually had bedding for 5. This is rather unheard of in London accommodations. Rooms were simplistic in nature, but an excellent value if all you need is a place to sleep after walking all over London during the day. Would like to see what the hotel looks like after renovation. We would probably stay there again.
The hotel is nice and close to the city centre, and it is probably as cheap as you can get this close. The rooms may remind you of a shoe box. If you're on a budget, this is probably not a bad option. If you want class and style, then you probably shouldn't be looking for budget options.
Reasonable value for money, prices less outrageous than other hotels in London
