"I would suggest to anyone considering staying here that they book a "deluxe" room - the "grand" rooms are very small indeed. The staff are excellent - very helpful and friendly. However, much more attention needs to be given to broken fittings and furnishings, and an improved standard of cleaning is clearly needed. " - Anonymous
" Price was good for Sydney and there is a good breakfast place two doors away." - paul blewonski
"Not quite the luxury boutique hotel they claim - our room didn't even have a window and the bathroom was the size of a postage stamp!!!" - Anonymous
"This hotel is trying to be something its not - a chic cool place to stay. Its a whitewashed old hotel and trying to drag big suitcases up and down the twisty stairs is no easy feat. I would call it Kings Cross rather than Darlinghurst so don't be fooled. On the plus side there are some great little cafes around the block and if you need some crack or any other drug for that matter you won't have to look far!!" - Roger Stephenson
