Louis Fitzgerald Hotel Dublin

This hotel was very nice. It is perfect if you are coming from the south side of the city as you can park for free and take the luas into the city (about a 10 minute walk away). It was very good value.

The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. We made a mistake with our booking and it was no problem for the staff to change it and sort everything out for us. The room was large and clean. We had a perfect night sleep. The hotel was located a close drive to the city centre, perfect our needs. We would be happy to stay at the hotel again.

Very clean, efficient hotel, charming staff, comfortable room. The location is good because of the hotel's proximity to the M8 and to the Luas (tram). While this is a huge bonus, the walk to the Luas is not an easy one taking at least 15 minutes. Returning alone at night from the city centre/Luas felt unsafe. All in all, I'd use the hotel again.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, I thought the hotel was overpriced at €75 per room. I was unable to gain internet access in my room and this was inconvenient as I was staying in the hotel whilst on business in the area.

The hotel is a bit far out to make it ideal in any way. I wouldn't class it as 4 star either, the rooms were fairly similar to a new Ibis. For older guests the new LUAS line is a bit of a walk, but realistically for the price on a rugby international weekend it wasn't bad. I suppose that's what it's like in general not really great but not really bad, a sort of nothing.

Very nice hotel but a bit far from town. There is nothing near where the hotel is. Its a 15min walk to the Luas (tram to town) and about a 20-25 min ride in. But a great place to stay if you dont mind this.

Excellent value, top class staff great location luas only a few mins walk from the hotel .

Very helpful & friendly staff. Rooms vert well ventilated. No noise problems from other guests. Excellent breakfast.

Entry not easy to spot. Great for parking. Luas 15 minutes walk or use the hotel bus (free) to Luas station.

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel - would highly recommend - will definately stay again next time I am back in Dublin.

Our swipe card didn't work very well. So we couldn't get up the lift one time & couldn't get drinks from the vending maching another time. I'd say we were just unlucky though. Other than that the hotel was great & very convenient to the Luas into town

Excellent value for money. Facility to book their private bus for transport to Luas line (tram linking the hotel directly to the centre of Dublin). Return fares on Luas are approx. €4.00 - great value.

Lovely hotel, spotless clean. The service at the bar was very poor.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. This is a beautiful new hotel, situated the dublin city side of newlands cross.The hotel has a shuttle bus service which runs to dublin city centre at a cost of 6.00pp. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and food in hotel was also very good.
