Getting there:Louisa's Cottage is situated in the heart of Sandy Bay, 1 km from the Hobart CBD and a similar distance from the Wrest Point Casino. Hobart's many attractions are within a few minutes easy drive. Leave your car in our off street car park, as you are only around 80 metres from the Sandy Bay shopping precinct, taxi rank or frequent Metro Bus service.

A pleasant Victorian-era style, single storey house with a pretty garden, set in a quiet suburban street, and also conveniently near to shops. The house was well maintained, very clean and our ensuite room was well appointed and as described, a bit like staying in a family home.Very quiet rooms.Off-street parking was good. Our host was helpful and knowledgeable,I recommend this B&B.
Lovely cottage, very well placed and within 20 minutes walk to the CBD. Close to the uiniversity campus. No flat screen television, no breakfast in pyjama's allowed, but plenty of choice for cafe and restaurant alternatives.

Great Bed and Breakfast. Incredible attention to detail from the decoration to the toilet paper. Fine service and friendly staff. Everything available in the town and an easy trip into the city. Continental breakfast only, however great coffee.
We stayed in Hobart for a weekend (2 nights), and didn't hire a car. We wanted something close to the city but not in the city itself, Louisa's is the place for that! We walked into town everyday (about 20mins.) and mostly caught the bus back, there is a stop right at the end of the street, where the shops are too. Plenty to choose from when it comes to eating out as well with a supermarket not far. The B&B itself is really well decorated. We stayed in a really large room at the front which was really beautiful. Breakfast is cereal and toast in a nice breakfast area off the lounge. All in all really enjoyable!
