"The room we were showed to looked of a "lesser" quality than the standard room that I thought we had booked and paid for. We opted to upgrade to a better quality room after arriving.
We had to go down the road to the other Distinction Hotel to use the spa as this hotel does not have one.
The Hotel Restaurant and Bar were closed on Easter Monday. I thought they would have been open, it didn't really matter and we ate out anyway. " - Ian Densie

All roads are well signposted. From Queenstown - 2 hours - take Highway 6 to the turn off at Five Rivers just before Lumsden, then follow Highway 94 to Te Anau. From Invercargill - 1.5 hours - take Highway 6 to the turn off at Lumsden then follow highway 94 to Te Anau. From Dunedin - 3.5 hours - take Highway 1 to Gore then Highway 94 to Te Anau. The Hotel is located in the Town Centre, drive along Lakefront Drive to the roundabout, turn left onto the Main St and the Hotel is on the corner of Mokonui Street and the Main Street on your left hand side. |
