"Rooms very small but warm, clean and comfortable. More suitable for the business traveller than for a romantic weekend! Shower room became steamed up, very easily, and extractor fan didn't work. Surprisingly quiet on second floor, considering the hotel's proximity to the Euston Road [on the other side from St Pancras station and the British Library). Don't try asking anyone for directions, though. Hardly anyone has ever heard of Mabledon Place. Expensive (at about £90 a night) for this standard of accomodation. Staff quite friendly and helpful but lift wasn't working, during my stay." - Anonymous
"The room was extremely small and cramped compared to what was shown in the pictures on hotelclub and on the hotel's own website. I found that the hotel lacked value for money. The redeeming features were the good location, free breakfast and free internet." - Anonymous
"No external phone calls available from room, and none at all long distance ! No internet or other services. Tiny room over noisy street, with net curtains blackened by carbon and dust; bathroom poorly equipped with fauolty and fragile equipment. Whole premises overheated and stuffy. Much-vaunted breakfast a disappointment with mostly pre-packaged items and sullen East European staff. A total disgrace, especially at the exorbitant price. To be avoided at all costs, despite proximity to St Pancras Eurostar, on which this establishment obviously trades - disreputably ! " - Anonymous
