"Good funky, well designed and modern hotel for a weekend stay.
and very easy to get in out of Granada.
There is a bus stop next to the hotel and the regular no 33 takes you to Placa Nueva, ideal for the city centre and Albacin/Alhambra. Forget the taxi from the hotel they take too long and the route taken is frustrating as they tend to use the ring road.
The spa in the basement is really excellent and I would recommend the massage, steam, jacuzzi package for €30. The staff are really friendly and professional.
However the evening meal we had on the Saturday night was poor.
We tried two fish dishes both were not fresh and service was abrupt and matter of fact.

The location isn't in the heart of the town but that's okay as you can easily take a 15 mins bus ride to the town center.

"THE HOTEL NEEDS BETTER SIGNS AS IT TOOK US 1 HOUR TO FIND THE HOTEL EVEN THOUGH WE WERE WITHIN 5 KLMS OF IT AT THE ALAMBRA AND PHONED FOR DIRECTIONS

The hotel enjoys a view over the city and the Sierra Nevada. It offers guests a total of 185 rooms spread over 6 storeys, as well as a garden and an entrance hall with a reception desk manned around the clock, a currency exchange facility and 3 lifts.
For an additional fee guests may make use of the room and laundry services, the medical service, bicycle rental and the garage.
Furthermore, the hotel´s facilities include a hairdresser, a bar/ café, a gourmet restaurant with Andalusian cuisine, a business centre, Internet access and spacious conference rooms for over 600 persons.
The rooms are decorated in a modern, comfortable design. They all feature an en suite bathroom, a living area, soundproofed windows, a hairdryer and individually adjustable air conditioning and heating. ...coming from everywhere..by the highway and the ring-road "circunvalación Ronda Sur", it´s very easy to reach.
On the main access to the Alhambra, and at 40 km to Sierra Nevada, 3 km to the town center, 15 km to the airport, 5 km to the train st., 55 km to the coast, at 35 mt to bus-stop...a wide-main entrance and parking facilities. |
