Madeleine Plaza Hotel Paris

I booked this hotel very last minute when options were limited. My criteria included: walking distance to monuments/tourist attractions, easy access to the metro, larger than average (for Paris) accomodations, free wifi, and well rated. The hotel scored on all counts. The location is in the heart of the upscale shopping district, within easy walking distance of the Champs. The metro was steps away, and was a stop that served three lines. Staff were pleasant and bilingual.

The hotel is very central and ideal for getting round the city. The hotel staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and fresh - perhaps a little small, but if you are out all day it doesn't matter much. We didn't bother with breakfast at the hotel as it's cheaper to get a coffee and croissant elsewhere and we ate out in the evening. I'd definitely recommend the hotel if going for a short break.

Excellent hotel. The location is great. Perfect trained staff - very polite and nice. Very clean rooms with renovated bathrooms. Definitely it`s the best choice of the place to stay for such a moderate price, location in the heart of Paris and welcoming staff.

This is a very good hotel at the right location. Price is valuable and staff is very helpful for us. Next time, I definitely prefer to stay here again.

Excellent location supported by good service made this stay a pleasure

Pleasant hotel in good location. Unfortunately there were roadworks all night just outsdide the hotel so we were unable to get much sleep. Otherwise ordinary road noise was not intrusive.

Good hotel, excellent location. But breakfasts are more then poor and promised wifi connection disconnects every 20 sec. Rooms are small but nice and the stuff is very friendly.

Beautiful boutique style hotel close to tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful providing tourist information and making sure we were happy with our room. Very reasonably priced.

Very good hotel, location is excellent, just en face of Madelaine cathedral, staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Surely will stay there again.

This hotel is a gem and coupled with its superb location a pleasure to stay there. The adjoing brasserie is a joy to prop into for a drink after a hard slog and choice of food is excellent.The girls at hotel reception are very pleasant and efficient and the ladies at breakfast make sure nothing is a problem.Rooms are larger than normal in Paris and the aircon actually works. Our favourite Parisian hotel.

Location was excellent, breakfast was fine, good value, but the room could have done with more light, i.e. there was no central light in the bedroom and the table lamps were very dim.

Good hotel in an excellent location with helpful staff. The rooms are good size and the decor very french. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

We were extremely surprised by the beauty of the room. Our friend had a smaller room than mine but we were extremelly satisfied with the room and we of course loved the location. Highly recommended.

Ideal location with pleasant and efficent staff, nice to see the mini bar with a price list which did not require a bank loan, right beside metro too.

Small rooms, but nicely decorated

Very nice location close to shops, Metro and sightseeing. Room was adequate, but of modest size.
