Overall is good. Staff at reception is not helpful. Check-in time is 2pm but was told to return after 3pm and told me to bring my lugggage with me as they will not be responsible. Location is great and overall cleaniless is good. It is worth what you are paying for as I've learnt from my experience in this trip in Italy. Will not hesitate to return to the hotel in my next visit.

Location is excellent if the distance from the Termini station is important as it is across the road from the exit. Not a very attractive area of the city.

the hotel is well located opposite the main railway station and is ideal for getting around the city. it's clean and the staff were friendly enough. Apart from sleep, there very little else to do in the hotel. There are only two lifts which are very slow, and they can get very congested around breakfast time- the breakfast is o.k.and on the whole it's worth the money-- but wouldn't want to stay any longer than 2 or 3 nights.

Whilst the cleanliness, facilities, service, and pricing were good, there are three points that require further comment. The breakfast was very good considering many hotels of this calibre do not provide any breakfast. The location in regard access to buses to and from the airport and to sightseeing could not be surpassed however the area generally was rather seedy. For visitors wishing to see the best of the ancient past of Rome we highly reccomend the Madison Hotel.

Very nice hotel for the money, close to the train station and good restaurants. No internet service, but staff knows where the best internet points are!

The hotel is right next to the Termini train station. Great rooms with fantastic showers (very large bathrooms), beds are nice and the rooms are spotless. Being so close to the train station brings with it the transients that were visible on the street "Marsala" in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was good and the location is the best if you come in in the evening and want to continue your travel with the train the next day.

The Location just outside the station is very central, for the price the rooms were what you would expect, also the rooms were clean. The only downfall was the breakfast, the coffee was awfal and the fruit juice tasted that it was reconstituted from powder.

It takes only 23 seconds to walk from the hotel entrance to the Marsala entrance of the Termini station. Superb location.

The location was excellent for catching the metro, train, and bus, as it was almost directly across from Termini. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The room was pleasant and adequate, the bed comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The bathtub was about double the height of those in the US....again, typical of Europe. We had our window open, and the noise did not bother us. We would recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is immediately opposite the Termini which is great for all new travellers to Rome, where you can access the metro, buses, trains to all over the region and especially to most of the attractions and the airport. Because of the nature of the Termini, it is very busy with people meeting, people selling at the entrance and various activities going on - all part of the entertainment. The hotle is a fairly priced hotel for the amenities it offers. Rooms as clean, and breakfast was included in our price (fairly standard). The food was well presented, fresh and pleanty choice available for a cold buffet breakfast. The hotel was very busy with travellers from many countries but never noisy. Free loan of umbrellas available in the foyer for guests (it rained all of the time we visited). For a new visitor to Rome on a reasonable budget this hotel is ideal, central to transport next to cafes and local restaurants.

Great location if you need to get in and out of Rome by train.(across the road) There was also no noise which made it a great sleep. Room was clean and great shower. Great for the price. Breakfast was really good. Lots of it and very fresh everyday. Make sure you bring all your adaptors with you because they don't supply any of these. Any chance of getting my skirt I left there??
