Mahkota Hotel Melaka

This is the 2nd time I am stay in this hotel/appartment. 1st time we got a 3 bedroom apartment because of our large number of family member. This time we got a 2 bedroom appartment. Not very fantastic stay for both occassion but considering only a nite rest, still acceptable. During both stay, we encountered the same problem, shower drainage flow was too slow. I think this is most aged hotel/appartment problem. If going for budget trip, still can consider this hotel/appartment.

They make a special arrangement to let me have a clean & non smoking room after i have sent them an email before my arrival at their hotel stating that my family member is allergic to dust. I have booked a two bedrooms premier apartment during my stay. The staff is very friendly and good to give me a double bed for both rooms upon check-in. The lift and walkway towards the room are quite run-down & lack of aircon but the room was alright. The location of the hotel is very near to the Mahkota Parade Shopping Mall which is just across the road. There are two big pool which my family have lots of fun. The minus point is that during our 3D2N nights stay, the wifi was down on the first two days & only the three night we have wifi. But you still must pay RM10 to connect it and the signal was not very strong too. The buffet breakfast had a variety of food choices but normal only. But overall we enjoy our stay there.

The place was great. Had fun in the pool. Breakfast was superb with variety of choices. Good location next to to the Mahkota Parade makes it very convenience for those who likes shopping. It could be better if the Management has a license money changer in its vicinity. Overall, two thumbs up :)

Very good location to shopping and historical areas, but the hotel itself is very run down. Need some major renovation works.

I find the room condition run down. It not a standard hotel but more to a apartment type of room.

Upon check in, the tap water was yellowish, seem like long time never use..the hotel staff said must on the tap for 1/2 hour the bath tub cracked and the water sip to the bathroom floor and also NEXT room and cause the carpet all wet and my bags all wet. and we only realised after that... too late Breakfast was very simple....not much variety.

the staff are very friendly, the hotel location is excellent close to the historical sites"walking distance" and lots of shopping malls and restaurants, the two bed apartment is quite big but the urgent need for bathrooms maintenance is required. choosing the swimming pool view is much batter than the sea view as a reclaiming proses is on going.

Hotel room need to renovate...

It within walking distance to shopping and food centre. Can park your car and do more walking. Good value for money.

Everything is fine except for cleanliness issue. There were bugs on the sofa, bed were fine and fresh. Building needs a fresh coat of paint and some upgrading.

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment. The rooms are clean and breakfast served was quite good. The hotel is very conveniently located. It is within walking distance to Mahkota Parade and the newly opened Taman Pahlawan shopping centres. The hotel stay could have been better if they have better maintainence of the rooms, some fixtures are quite run down.

This hotel is just next to the Mahkota Parade. Ideal location if you plan to do some shopping. However, the rooms are a bit run-down.
