Majestic Grande Hotel Bangkok

Close to Sukhumvit and the street shopping there, as well as the Nana entertainment area. The hotel is also a short walk to Ploenchit BTS and easy to get to and from. Liked the hotel and the Internet connection was well behaved as well, making it a useful hotel for the business traveller.

Fantastic hotel with a great team delivering on every request. This was my second visit and I'll be back again.

I have asked a taxi to drive me to the airport. However they arranged a tranfer much more expensive than the normal, without informing me before.

This is an elegant hotel. It has a very western feel to it. It is strictly for the business traveller. If you don't need elegance it is over priced. My toilet did not flush. I mentioned it to the bell hop upon arrival but it was never attended too in spite of assurances to the contrary.

Very pleasant, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Location is okay but have to walk a bit to get to BTS. Fantastic breakfast!

Excellent service, friendly helpful staff, will stay again. Be aware there is considerable street construction at present near the hotel to the BTS. Getting to BTS requires a bit of a walk through busy roads. Really only a problem if you have difficulty walking more than 5 minutes.

Majestic Grande is probably the best hotel we have lived in, everything is excellent

Lovely big room. Clean and modern. Excellent breakfast. Localtion is great, just a few minutes from the skytrain. Helpful staff. Only slight criticism is that the pool does not get any sunshine. I have stayed at about 10 hotels in Bangkok and this is one of the best. I would recomment it highly.

Excellent location, great staff, facilities, and breakfast. The rooms were clean, modern, big and comfortable; we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Clean comfortable room, nice breakfast buffet, near the Sky Train for good access to most places. A good value for the price. Near the expressway for good access to the airport. Not close to the Palace and cross town traffic by cab can be difficult. Use the Sky Train and supplament with cabs when necessary.

OK hotel only if your a single male tourist interested in the Bangkok nightlife!! rooms are small and very cramped. Gym and pool quite good, would not recommend for couples or families.

Clean, renovated, but... the airconditioner is shocking - it goes from very cold to a dead stop, then when the temperature becomes unbearably hot, it starts blowing like mad till it gets cold again... Staff polite but never do what you ask of them. Bringing luggage into the room took 2 hours after countless calls to reception... I've asked for a couple of teabags... they never arrived... Although breakfast is aplenty. No gym, not very flexible staff with small requests... Who gave them all those stars? There are so many nice hotels in Bangkok...Disappointing

Had a wonderful stay at the Majestic Grande. Facilities were wonderful. The service, well, I can't say enough about the service. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent high-class hotel, swimming pool small but functional, slightly odd location next to the dining area. Only real downside is Sukhumvit is fine for the markets (night bazaar and chatuchak) by taxi/skytrain, but a bit remote from the main tourist attractions, and there's some typical paedophile/bar girl sleaze in the area - hard, but possible, to avoid in Bangkok.
