Beware - "Deluxe Room" is far better than "Superior Room" or even "Penthouse Floor". I had a penthouse room on the last 2 floors. The room was old, flooring scratched allover and furniture well below average (which was not I remember as I stayed and this hotel before - but that was a deluxe room) The Cable cut off the required maintenance and ultimately worked. The A/C become hot and was unreliable they transferred me to another penthouse room that was miserable, smaller and older. Ultimately they transferred to one of the deluxe rooms in the first 8 floors which was much better but still no more than a lower level 4 stars. If location is important and you will get a deluxe room then it may be an acceptable choice.
We stayed in the hotel for 3 days, and it was ok.

36 sq.meter all rooms are carpeted,Bed Configuration either King, Queen & Twin Bed, Choice of Smoking or Non Smoking Floor, Centralized Airconditioned with DHL Internet Connection, With Complimentary BOttled Water, Located at 5th to 9th Floor. 2 Elevators near at the Business center exclusive to this FLoor
With 65 sq. meter with Living and dining rooms , some rooms with complete kitchen facilities, all smoking, good for the family 5 - 6 persons. All One Bedroom Suites are Smoking Room.
130 sq, meter, King Bed and Twin Bed, Up and Down Unit all master bedroom loacted on the 3nd Floor, Non Smoking with Complet Kitchen facilities, Washing Machine, DVD Player, Located on the Top Palace Hotel wherein we can see the view of Makati City 360 Dgrees, Newly open Floor, Wifi Internet Access. All Presidential Summit Suites are Non-Smoking Room.
My wife and I normally stay at the Oxford Suites Makati. During the years, we have seen the Makati Palace Hotel being built and wondered about the new hotel. Why not try it? NEVER AGAIN! The poolside bar is permanently closed, the water in the pool is covered with an oily, slimy substance and the hallways stink like a sewer. Next time, we'll go back to the Oxford Suites.
