This is a nice modern hotel in a great location - it is very close to the city centre and also the Grand Canal Theatre which is why we stayed there. The room was lovely modern and very clean. The service at reception was good so overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Excellent hotel. 15/20 minute walk to main shopping/bars/restaurant areas. If raining / windy it would be a taxi ride which seem to be available on the stand outside the hotel at all times.Taxi from airport direct to hotel Euro 22 each way with Dublin Eco Taxi bookable on the internet

We stayed at the Maldron Hotel Cardiff Lane Dublin for 4 nights in January 2010. The hotel itself is very new. There is a pool, sauna, spa, lounge area with internet access and a bar. Our room was a really good size with room for a little table with two chairs. The room was nice and clean as was the bathroom. The hotel was really good value for money. It is not right in the center of Dublin, it was about a 20 minute walk. There is a bus stop about a 5 minute walk away and we caught a taxi into the city for about 7 Euros. There isn't a lot to do near the hotel, but there are a couple of takeaway restaurants and a small supermarket. No mini fridge, but it was winter when we were there so we kept our drinks cold on the balcony.

A very nice and clean hotel. Tidy and good facilities, does deserve the 4 star rating. There is quite an amount of building work ongoing close by the hotel which appears to be in its latter stages and the area surrounding will be much more pleasant on the eye once this is completed.

More of a buisiness focused hotel but good sized room with restaurant attached to hotel. Location is about 20 minutes walk to town centre, area is rapidly expanding office zone.

Enjoyed my stay at hotel. Would go back there again. Enjoyed the spa too. I did find food and drink a bit expensive.

Great hotel. Clean, spacious, good facilities (pool, sauna, bar, free broadband enabled TVs in rooms, etc). Only downside is location - about a 15-20 minute walk from Temple bar area / O' Connell st, ok on a nice evening, not so great in the rain.

Accommodation and service very good, location great as opposite client's office, and also close enough to walk into and around town. Fitness centre excellent.

This hotel was very good overall it was just rather isolated although it was just a few minutes in a taxi to the centre. There was a building site right beside it too which was not very nice but did not cause much noise. We stayed Thurs to Sunday

Had a fantastic stay, lovely clean, fresh and new hotel. A good 15-20 minutes walk from temple bar. We prefer to be out of the noisy centre so it suited us well.
