The snorkelling is excellent along the drop-offs at North Beach and Sunset Beach. As well as thousands of small fish we saw reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, a school of 1m long barracuda and a turtle.
Staff pleasant only stayed 2 nights. Only problem was the one a la carte restaurant needed to be booked at least 2 days ahead. the other alternative was the buffet which are not always really hot in Fiji. Overall Island good but some facilities needed maintance.
Amidst a lush tropical garden setting rests 45 comfortable bures cleverly sprawled within her sweet scented confines, reminiscent of a Fijian village setting
Offering awesome views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding Mamanuca Islands, the Ocean View category is closest to traditional hotel style units and bures
These twelve “stand alone” bures stretch along the length of the North Beach and again are just steps away from the unspoiled natural white sand. Our recently renovated ocean front bures provide breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the tranquility you enjoy here is unmatched. Each Bure has its own deck ,is brightly furnished to suit the mood of the tropics, and features a private balcony with a delightful view of the ocean’s edge. Our Ocean Front Bures are the perfect lodging for the romantic couple looking to make paradise dreams a reality.
If you’re traveling with your entire family or perhaps your friends, then we recommend our spacious Ocean Front Suites. Mana’s newest accommodations epitomise luxury and comfort. Located on the South Beach and just steps away from the water, these split-level Ocean Front Suites are elegantly furnished in a blend of modern and traditional styles
Staff were fantastic, always friendly and willing to help, also great with children. The ocean was crystal clear great for snorkelling. Highly recommended family holiday.
Great location, excellent snorkelling but let down by poor service and indifferent food.
Units require upgrade. Minor repairs not done. Meals very good. Drinks expensive. Gardens poor.
Fantastic Island resort. Lovely simple bures. Food isn't spectacular as on some other more expensive island resorts, but was still quite nice.
We just had 2 relaxing weeks here. All staff were very friendly and helpful except 2 of the boys in non-motorized water sports. Miki Night by the staff was a highlight. Take your duty free wine, and buy drinks at Happy Hour. Food was fresh and plentiful, especially at Lovo Buffet Night where the food is cooked traditionally underground.Worth watching. We thought the South Beach Restaurant was too expensive as the same food was available cheaper at the al-a-carte restaurant. There were blocked water pipes, apparently, which caused them to turn off the water to the rooms from 1-5am.Also occasionally a whiff of sewerage outside our bure room shower,(which is outside) Our bure was very quiet, even though it was near a path. I would definitely go there again.Seems good value for money.
Best holidays (and showers) of my life.
Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Snorkelling is fabulous as you can do it any time directly off the beach. Food is average.
Forget the four stars, the bungalows are 2 stars at the most. Very primitive, but cosy. Everything is Fiji-time so don't expect the room to be cleaned until late afternoon. The staff is very friendly and the beaches good. It's a family feel to it all.
First time to a Pacific Island Resort. Great setting and staff were excellent. Food was below par in quality but certainly was plentiful. Drinks were expensive and not a lot to select from. Overall would go again now knowing what to expect. 6.5
