Mandarin Orchard Singapore Hotel

If you like shopping and eating, this hotel is in a great location and the hotel rates are usually quite reasonable compare to other hotels on Orchard. This is not a luxury hotel, but the rooms are nice, clean and average amenities are included. There are two wings to the hotel and the elevator system are complicated for first time visitors and need some getting use to. The rooms in the new and orchard wing are quite different and depending on whether you like a more classic or modern hotel room, you would choose orchard or new wing respectively. In my opinion, the orchard wing is better.

Best location for shopping. I requested for connection room beforehand and when I checked in the front staff said i can get the connecting room but it was just opposite room, never mind. The room are new renovated but still can see old stain. Some in room lights were broken. The small towel given only 1 for 1st and 2nd night, then got 2 on the last night. Front staffs are nice but they are busy all the time. Queuing for check out for 5 mins. then asked for service to get our luggage left in room. Then I went out for lunch and after I came back our luggage still in the room. Had to go and ask the bell service in person to collect our luggage.

We have stayed here before and this is an excellent hotel. Right in the heart of the Orchard Road shopping district, the staff could not do enough for us. They even provided a Hospitality Room after we had checked out for us to freshen up late in the day before our departure to the airport. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely sray here again.

It's in Orchard Rd, so mostly we do shopping, and if needed, really close to Mt. Elizabeth Hospital. Very convenient with excellent hotel stay.

No frills, quite new hotel (in 2011), and with free wifi, it's a good deal. Perfect if you are looking to stay near Tan Tok Seng Hospital or Balestier Rd. MRT station is about 10min walk, can't see Bus stop (didn't try to find one, anyway), and rather easy to hail a cab. A really decent and good hotel if you happen to look accommodation in the area.

check in is too complicated and takes along time... also arrangement of baggage need a better arrangement. overall, i would like to come back again to stay here, hospitality is no 1, and your F/B is response quickly would like to give a thank full noted and appreciation to NAVEEN NICHOLAS(ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER) for such a good assistant.

A very big hotel which is able to provide personal service and attention to customers. Excellent breakfast and very efficient staff.

The Internet connection in the room was not working. They were not able to resolve the problem when I complained and asked me to wait the next day.

Overall an outstanding Hotel. One of the best locations for being central to the city. Club room reasonably modern and quite luxurious. Staff are extremely friendly (almost anoyingly friendly, however it is Singapore and everyone likes to help). Breakfast which was included was up there with the best I've had. Two gripes would be that checkin and check out take along time when busy and when breakfast is busy look out it is no where as enjoyable quite frustrating fighting for the last bit of bacon. Note: If you get breakfast included its at least worh $30 AUS. I Would be staying their again when next in Singapore.

We've had a wonderful time..especially after being upgraded to a superior suite! The bed and especially the pillows were heaven!!! The restaurants in the hotel left a lasting culinary experience and I promise we will be back, if the specials allow us.......

Front desk reception was superbe. The room was spacious, clean and well equiped. Although the breakfast was an added item to our booking and therefore was a bit pricey (especially after adding both taxes) it still offered good value for money with its enormous choice, but the service there could be improved.

One of the few hotels that have the best location in Singapore, but in terms of pricing it is quite expensive for the services and rooms they have provided.

The hotel is very busy so breakfast and check out can take quite some time. On more than one occasion, they have no record of my reservation upon check in. Great location and rooms.

This hotel is in an excellent location for shopping. It is very clean however the facilities in my room were dated. There are tea and coffee making facilities but no mini fridge. The old style hairdryer on the wall in the bathroom is outdated and was very awkward to use. The elevator would not recognize my keycard after one day. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. I like the way they have staff "floating" in the lobby area to assist.

we stay here every time we're in singapore. the location is fabulous and the rooms are clean.

The service standards dropped as compared with previous Mandarin Meritus which I stayed 6 months ago. Housekeeping needs to improve.

Room facility is arvergae. the location is very good for shopper. i disapiont for check in seevice take to much time. and the room and that clean .

Check-in time took way too long. Would only pick this hotel due to the excellent location on Orchard.
