"My first experience of a 4-star hotel was favourable. Services were expensive, but then four-star hotels attract four-star people with ppropriate incomes. Service was efficient and prompt. I should be pleased to stay at the Mandeville if i should visit London again. Its location was suitable for all the things I wished to do during my sadly short stay in the world's greatest city." - Gerard M Ellis
"Great hotel in all aspects apart from the reception. Queues, non-welcoming staff and slow service when finally at front of queue." - Anonymous
"Excellent, courteous service - was offered an upgrade upon check-in which I would've had to pay extra for so declined. Hotel room clean and comfortable. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities - you have to pay room service charges just to have a cup of tea - is a major negative. Even basic b & b's have a kettle in the room. This is not what I expect from a four star central London hotel. " - Anonymous
"While the rooms are small and typical of London, the location is outstanding and the service and facilities more than adequate. Overall good value." - Anonymous
