Getting there:Manly Guest House is conveniently located only 10 minutes walk from the Manly Ferry Wharf. Simply walk up Belgrave Street, which becomes Pittwater Road. Cross over Raglan Street and keep walking until you get to Steinton Street. Turn right and we are the first property on the left.
Check-in Procedure:We have an onsite night manager who will check you in if you arrive after office hours. His phone number appears on the front door.
Car parking:There is on-street parking. Permits available for $10 per day but limited number available so let us know before you arrive if possible.

An excellent and well run budget hotel. Clean and well situated for easy ferry access to Downtown Sydney and close to a wonderful beach. The whole area is delightful
Overall a good cheap place to stay in Manly , only real negative for me was the room I had smelt strongly of damp . Maybe more attention should be given to airing unused rooms .

The room we stayed in (Ground floor) requires some minor maintainance. One of the beds was covered in sand. The shared bathrooms with showers on the ground floor had doors that did not lock (or close) and generally need to be renovated and cleaned. We used the bathroom on the 1st floor which had been renovated and more pleasant to use. Parking off-street was ok. Manly Guest House offered a parking permit ($10 per day) which allowed all day parking in the 2hr Permit Zone. The location however was great, it was nice and close to the beach and ferry. Would stay there again if the room/bathrooms were renovated.

There was a general lack of cleanliness, absence of basics such as light bulbs and toilet paper. The kitchen area was unclean and unhygenic. Rooms are very basic, thin mattresses, thin sheets. One guest suspected bitten with bedbugs. BUT, the cost is very reasonable and the location excellent.
Staff were excellent. Internet connection not at all reliable. Did not expect for wife and I to be stuck with bunk beds. Miniblinds in room were broken and thus could not cover window.
Manly Guest House was great. It is near to the sea. The stuff was very friendly! We would go there again!
