"The room we stayed in (Ground floor) requires some minor maintainance. One of the beds was covered in sand. The shared bathrooms with showers on the ground floor had doors that did not lock (or close) and generally need to be renovated and cleaned. We used the bathroom on the 1st floor which had been renovated and more pleasant to use.
Parking off-street was ok. Manly Guest House offered a parking permit ($10 per day) which allowed all day parking in the 2hr Permit Zone.
The location however was great, it was nice and close to the beach and ferry. Would stay there again if the room/bathrooms were renovated." - Anonymous

"There was a general lack of cleanliness, absence of basics such as light bulbs and toilet paper. The kitchen area was unclean and unhygenic. Rooms are very basic, thin mattresses, thin sheets. One guest suspected bitten with bedbugs. BUT, the cost is very reasonable and the location excellent." - Shirley Campbell

Manly Guest House is conveniently located only 10 minutes walk from the Manly Ferry Wharf. Simply walk up Belgrave Street, which becomes Pittwater Road. Cross over Raglan Street and keep walking until you get to Steinton Street. Turn right and we are the first property on the left. |
