Manohra Hotel Bangkok

This is an older hotel centrally located in Bangkok. The rooms are nothing fancy, but well taken care of for the price. The breakfast buffet in the morning is great value.

Room was perfect and breakfast was really a good choice for any taste/nationality. Was happy with my stay.

Pictures on net dont do justice this is a very clean wonderful hotel I did book into [other hotel] for second half after return from phuket but STAY AWAY do YOURSELF favor BOOK HERE - just ask for someone who speaks english IF you dont think they understand and you will be helped - massages cheap but great and aircon - meter taxi cost 50 bath use them - staff fantastic thank you

Well priced hotel Value for money

Fairly old hotel. but very good service and good location. foods are really good. really worth for the money. I recomend this hotel.

Internet wireless service is good point. About location, you need to take Skytrain or taxi to get to downtown.

I have stayed at the Manohra a good few times. Location and pricing can't be faulted.

Good value budget hotel. Clean rooms, nice alfresco dining area, varied breakfast buffet, and located near Patpong Markets.

This hotel seems to cater to the tour group population. Nothing very special about this hotel. The photo of the pool gives the appearance of a nice pool, but in reality it is like a clean little "pond" just off the hotel lobby. Beware the noise from the street can be heard most of the night as this hotel is located on busy street, but far away from the Patpong scene.

Excellent service, nice hotel and the room was fine but the bathroom was falling apart...

The buffet breakfast is expensive for the varieties of food offered as compared to the hotel rate.

Handy Hotel short cab ride from most attractions. Staff Friendly, rooms basic but fine, have fridge, TV etc. A good option for budget traveller who doesn't fancy backpacker places. Rooms at the Highway side tend to shake when large lorries pass by!! Was woken up by an prostitute arguing with her Client in the corridor last time I stayed, but I guess this goes on in most Bangkok hotels! Also beware of the doorman's onward travel/bookings advice - say no thanks and check it out for yourself.

Rooftop Garden Great. Be wary of the over helpful staff who may be on the cut from tour agencies.

Very friendly and co-operative staff.

The building is old, especially the lobby. But service provided is good, friendly staffs.

Quite old building, but in a good location (near the river and the turistic area)... A/C in rooms, has a grocery store in the corner and an ok restaurant... good to stay a few days.

Facilities not well-maintained

Noise mainly in the front wings, coming mostly from Suriwong St, is a problem. Rooms in the back are much better and quiet. Being an old hotel, it could do with some renovation (e.g. touch-up of old bathrooms); replacing old carpets in corridors is a good initiative. Service staff helpful and commendable.
