We were very pleasantly surprised by the amount this place has to offer. Couches were comfortable as were chairs and bed, kitchen a reasonable size with options of stove, oven and microwave. We found the proximity to the train line no problem at all noise-wise even though we were right above it. (Summer might be different, with doors open to the balcony.) The place was bright and airy. We had DVD and CD players. The closeness to restaurants and Chapel St shopping was great. We only took the car out to go to the Prahran Market because we did not want to lug heavy bags back. A few more utensils would be good, but the place really did have the wow factor.
Clean. very clean. If u want a great place to stay in melbourne. Close to everything. The hot water service was a little worse for wear with the 4 of us and some washing tho. But being at manor house really was great.

Excellent location, central to public transport, shops and fine restaurants. The pool, whilst advertised as "heated" was very cool and the spa not up to standard.

A very pleasant place to stay and very close to transport.
The staff were very helpfull. The only issue is that we had a 74 year old male with us and we were not aware of the stairs in the room or that the shower was over that bath and he required assistance getting into and out of it. The airconditioning was not working correctly upstairs remainde hot and needed to be turned off

Very pleasant place to stay, convenient to public transport both trams and trains, only 3-4 kms from cbd. Close to restaurants and coffee cafes.

Good location for shopping and eating along Chapel St and Toorak Rd, walking along the Yarra, or catching public transport.
The main bathroom was somewhat shabby and could do with being updated, fridge in kitchen was old and should be replaced. However, it was very clean and all other appliances were in good working order. The laundry facilities were excellent.
It is a shame that this nicely located clean hotel has such poor service.
very comfortable and warm setting. however broadband connection was not successful for us during our stay there. will return to this hotel the next trip in Melbourne.
Negatives: Building is quite old, the carpet was stained and several electrical items did not work. Positives: Great location, heating, size and balcony.
We were let down with another trip overseas we had organised through a travel agent. We didn't get to go and at the last minute organised a trip to Melbourne. We used the website to try to keep our costs to a minimum as we had lost money from our overseas trip. We were so pleasantly surprised with the quality of te accommodation and how reasonably priced it was. We have two children and there was plenty of room for all of us. After a terrible experience with our overseas trip we appreciated good service and a lovely place to stay. Thank you
Fantastic location and lovely staff. The apartment was extremely well equipped but was quite compact. Would definitely stay again but would upgrade to a larger apartment.
Attractive, clean apartments, helpful service and a great location.
Service staffs are extremely helpful and polite. Rooms are nice and clean. Wireless internet access is pricey though.
Very well appointed and serviced facilities in excellent condition.
