Very good hotel we would stay there again.
A great hotel for B&B, suited my needs v well. Breakfasts were excellent, v good for the price, will go again
The hotel is in dire need of modernization. The rooms date back to the 70's and one must go through endless corridors and stairs to get to room.
The majority of the guests were elderly, and the evening entertainment was very much directed at this age group. Apart from this, we really enjoyed our stay at the Mansion. It should be noted that for good or ill, the sea view rooms have an excellent view of the Bandstand. We spent several evenings happily watching the performances from our window. If you were not a music lover, you would have found it noisy.
My room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the seafront. The room was clean and all the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Some of the furniture and fittings were past their best but this adds to the hotel's charm. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
The room and hotel was in need of some basic maintenance and refurbishment but good attempts had been made to make the best of the infrastructure. Staff were particularly pleasant and helpful and most important the hotel was quiet at night. An average to good stay rather than exceptional.
