Getting there:From Melbourne Airport take the Tullamarine Freeway into Melbourne, exiting at Flemington Road. Turn right at Elizabeth Street to enter the Melbourne CBD. Once into Melbournes CBD, turn left at Lonsdale Street, followed by a right turn into Exhibition Street. The hotel is located at 100 Exhibition Street and adjacent to Nauru House. Corporate car transfers can be arranged directly with the hotel at a very competitive rate.
Check-in Procedure:24 hour reception available - if car parking is required, there is a drop off zone located right at the front of the hotel.
Car parking:Further car parking is available at Secure Park Parking directly behind the apartments for $27.00 a day, based on overnight parking with a single entry and exit. Secure Park is accessible 24 hours, seven days a week, with on-site security, located within 100 metres of the apartments. Multiple re-entry is available from Kings and pricing can be negotiated directly with them.
Child Policy:Children under the age of 12 stay for free using the apartments existing bedding. Guests over 12 years of age are considered adults. A fee of $40.00 applies for those above the advertised persons.
Another pleasant stay with Mantra. No complaints here, the room was great, alot larger than we expected & very clean, service was friendly & efficient and the location was perfect. Walking distance to the MCG, shopping & nightlife. It's got it all.

Nice units, very clean well appointed We booked 2 apartments which we paid the same price for but units were different, no laundry facilities in ours, smaller unit Bit dissappointed that they were also on different floors when I booked as a group booking Staff were excellent
The service is extremely average. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel if you plan on hiring a car and driving around Melbourne as the parking system is appalling. They quote the current parking price of $27 per day however the car park is not that of the hotel. In fact, it is a public car park close by which does not allow you to enter as many times as you'd like per day. So the 'price' of $27 per day can quite easily become $27 per entry - so be extremely careful! Great location though!
The location was excellent. Facilites in the room were good but the carpet needed a good clean and lounges were very dirty and needed replacing.
Good hotel right in the heart of things
Generally quite good - central enough location, though the accommodation on the 10th floor requires negotiation of the lift to the 9th floor, then some awkward stairs to the 10th..not great for those with limited mobility...or even just a sore ankle! Staff friendly and able, some items in room seemed not to work too well (CD player, dirty iron), but other than these small annoyances, good.
To close to the Night Clubs in Little collins St,you cannot get your car before 7o'clock because of all the Goths hanging around, I nearly got mugged, luckily I left my wallet in the apartment. I won't stay there again. (the receptionist was telling us that one time they couldn't let anyone out before 9.30am).
We choose the hotel for it's position; close to the theatre.
have stayed here before and had no probs but this time we stayed on the first floor facing an alleyway. we were kept up all night as in that alleyway is a club which people decided to party till daylight - so not much sleep!! otherwise have no complaints on the hotel
The staff were fantastic but the noise level left a lot to be desired. Situated in room backing onto alley those in the second bedroom unable to sleep due to noise level - not so much the clubs but people in the alley for hours speaking loudly and screaming. The second night we asked twice for hotel staff to get them to move on but they returned. Would not stay in this hotel again - double glazed windows need to be invested in.
Good location and clean room. Stayed a week before in a one bedroom apartment and the bathroom was bigger then the two bedroom apartment.

Overall I would stay there again. Quite handy to east end of Melbourne and transport but a little noisy from the street below. Our door lock broke which resulted in having to get staff to come and open our door everytime we came back to the hotel which they were quite happy to do. Great staff aiming to please.
Beautiful one bedroom apartment - housekeepers very efficient. All amenities in room you could ask for! Little interaction with reception but what we did have was great! Easy walking distance to everything..
Great location, handy to Paris End and Theatre Precinct with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
My teenage daughter and I stayed at the Mantra for 3 nights when we visited Melbourne to see the Jersey Boys Show...(A Fantastic show) We found the Mantra to be in a perfect location as we could walk to wherever we wanted. The shops were basically outside the door, there is a 711 store next door, the Princes Theatre was only one street behind the hotel and we walked only 10 mins to Lygon St for dinner. The service was also exceptional as we flew in from Perth on the redeye flight arriving at the hotel at 6am. They gave us the key to our room immediately so that we could unpack and get a few hours sleep before hitting the shops. The rooms have obviously been renovated and were very modern and extremely clean. They were small apartment type rooms with a living area, kitchen facilities, washing machine, bedroom and a decent sized bathroom. The only negative thing I could say was that you could not see the tv from the bedroom so you had to sit on the lounge to watch.
Ideal location close to theatres, lots of eateries and restaraunts, public transport and very friendly and helpful staff.
Mantra is well positioned to the theatre district and the shops. The room had been freshly painted and in perfect nick.
Great location - self-catering apartments very roomy and convenient. Will definitely stay there again.
