Overall pleased with my stay, excellent location. Could improve on insect control, was not impressed with ants (a lot) crawling on our bed and outdoor spa with dead bugs hanging around. I would stay again just for the location.
No services at all at the hotel, no bar, no restaurants, no ice machine etc. It is close to the main street, but a pain that you do have to leave the premises for a drink or food or even ice for your own drinks. Nothing close to hotel was open for breakfast sunday morning had to walk to grant street for nearest cafe for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and courteous, the spa on the balcony was lovely, room cleaning left a little to be desired but not too bad. Not sure how it rates as 4 star when it provides no services whatsoever.

Superb hotel with great rooms, Rooms equipped with all standard requirements plus kitchen sink and toaster, well worth the little extra money for a ground floor room for own private access to lovely and quiet pool area, hot tub on own patio a big plus. lFantastic location just two minutes from the beach and one minute from main street. if I was returning to Port Douglas we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Aqueous is a very nice hotel in an excellent position. It is very modern with contempory decor.
New resort. Very clean with good facilities. Excellent location and staff were wonderful. Would stay there again.
Lovely and fresh accomodation with decent amount of space. Apartment facilities are very comfortable and kitchen is extremely well fitted. Its location is sensational - very close to beach, restaurants, shops and marina.
