Getting there:TRAIN / BUS - Located only 400 metres from Parramatta Railway Station and Bus Interchange, ideally situated near the Westfield Shopping Centre. FERRY Rivercat Ferry Terminal is on the corner of Charles St & Phillip St. Walking distance to hotel is between 15-20 minutes. Turn right when you get out from the terminal, this is Phillip St. Walk towards Smith St and turn left at the traffic light. Walk past the Railway Station, on your right hand side. At Parkes St traffic light, turn right and right again at Valentine Ave. Taxi ride from the Ferry terminal will take about 10 minutes, with an approximate cost of $10. ROAD From North, take Pennant Hills Rd. Turn left at Church St, right at Victoria Rd, left at OConnell St. At Great Western Highway turn left. At traffic light near the Irish pub road continues as Parkes St. Proceed straight and turn left at Valentine Ave.

a great place to stay very courteous staff helpful in every request thouroughly recommend
On arrival our room had been used by a smoker...against hotel policy. We advised the Reception who checked the room , apologised and und upgraded us to a higher standard room. Were we pleased? Delighted! Great service.
Overall it was very good but went to have a drink in the bar at 7pm friday night and was told the bar would be shutting in 10 mins and until i found out there were many restaurants aprox 500m away thought it unusual the restaurant wasnt opened either.
the Mantra Hotel is well located but the hotel is old and very much in need of upgrading particularly the rooms and the bathrooms within. The TV's are small and of poor quality.

We enjoyed our stay at Mantra last weekend however we didn'n like the bathroom as it was desinged for disable person and we had water everywhere after we had shower. Other than this, no issues and hotel is good for overnight stay. Good location, close to parramatta westfield. They have paid car parking - $12 a day.
Good hotel, location wrt downtown Sydney somewhat far.
Staff were excellent and couldn't have helped more. Apartment was clean, well serviced & had everything in it I required. I would recomend it to anyone visiting Paramatta
An excellent choice for this part of Sydney-you can still get into the CBD if you need to but its also great for heading to the Blue Mts etc. Lots of local shopping and things to see also.
The lady on the front desk who greeted us was very helpful...We enjoyed our stay
Very limited free Tea and Coffee. Was not restocked during stay. Very small criticism but shows lack of attention to detail by the Hotel Staff
I was allocated a room with a disabled bathroom. The handheld shower flooded the whole bathroom floor and was very ackward to manage. I'm not sure how a disable person would handle this. The wet floor was dangerous and messy. I had dinner in the restaurant with a work mate. The service was average. Although the wait staff were polite and courteous they were not overly attentive (the restaurant was not busy at all). We were not offered a second round of drinks. The 2 meals didn't come out at the same time and whilst they were presented well they weren't hot.
The only problem that I had was with the card to operate the lift and to open the room, some times you had to swipe it half a dozen times in order to get it to work. This is a bit disconcerting when you are in a strange city and it is early morning or late night. They are similar to a credit card but maybe they get scratched with constant use.
The room was spacious and well presented. The traffic noise was a little offputting, but overall not a bad hotel. The breakfast was woeful though and I regretted not having it in a nearby cafe. The bacon was mostly fat and uncooked, the eggs undercooked. I am used to better whilst staying at other hotels. The staff were friendly. Ps if you are going to the gold class cinema dont order a decaf coffee, they gave me a luke warm regular coffee and I was up all night.
Found the bathroom, in particular the shower set up very strange & potentially dangerous. With no shower screen or base, the water covers the entire bathroom floor, and out the door to the entry way. No chance of using the hairdryer provided when the bathroom floor is covered in water!
Great location, very clean room and spa unit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again after my experience.
Lovely place to stay. A studio room even had cooking and cleaning facilities, very happy to stay again!
Courtious staff, 1 bedroom unit room sizes slightly small but tidy, sofa bed mattress seemed old and worn.
