Getting there:*About 20 minutes from the airport, all airport shuttle services that run from the airport bring you to the hotel. *Taxi is about $25 to $30 from the airport to the city. *Trains also run from the Domestic and International Airport very frequently and it is a 15 minute train ride to the city. Just catch the city train down to Town Hall Station then just a short stroll to Kent Street.

Excellent location, very convenient to trains, city centre, shops, restaraunts and cafes. Great sized room (1 bedroom deluxe apartment), spacey and comfortable with handy facilities in the room. Upon arrival, I was informed by reception that there was no record of my booking on the system albeit that I had confirmations and vouchers. However, the manager came out and arranged rooms with minimum fuss. No problems after this.
Enjoyable and well serviced stay. Broken light globe main bedside, can't see TV very well from main bed, could not find spare blanket, but excellent polite people at desk, lent us 2 umbrellas, breakfast was very well done. I will stay there again I hope.

I loved staying at the Mantra. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, neat and new. Parking was easy and the position was fantastic.
We had a I bedroom apartment, very spacious, clean and serviced daily. The staff are very friendly and will help you with all your needs. The Mantra is in a good position close to Darling Harbor and shopping centres, monorail station very close and for $10 you can get a day pass . For $48 you can get a week pass to use the trains ferries and bus service. Town Hall station near bye. All in all he Mantra is very good in an excellent area and would stay there again.
Great hotel close to Darling Harbour, Market St and Pitt St. The appartments are very spacious, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, big bathroom with large bath and hot water. Definately worth staying here if you can get a good deal, friendly reception, and easy access to hotel from Town Hall station if arriving on CityRail. I've stayed at the Novotel and Sofitel and can tell you this hotel is way more comfortable. Will stay again when in Sydney.
Room was great. Close proximity to shops, transport and Darling Harbour was great. Hotel restaraunt was not open at night but there are plenty of other nearby places.
fantastic position close to darling harbour and George street shopping.we got a room upgrade without even requesting it. Would definitely stay here again
Have stayed here maybe 15 times, only critism was the parking arrangements next door, parked car at approx 4PM Sunday & when booked out at 6:45am Mon Morning was hit with a $50 bill, at $10 per weekend day which ended at 5am meant that it was $44 for 1 3/4 hrs!!!!!!!!! Was told the $36 fee at counter was the lesser option! Of all the times I have stayed here how come I am a silver club - are there any advantages to being "Gold"?
We did not receive a thank you card .We were disappointed with our room it was situated near the hotels air conditioning and was noisy.The milk supply was not fresh the container had been opened by the previous guests.We were shocked by the cost of parking and the lack of portage at the hotel.
Mantra on Kent was located within a block from Town Hall Station, Darling Harbour and the Monorail Station. Upon arrival and throughout our stay the service of the front reception team was excellent. They were all very friendly and tried to assist in anyway they could. The room itself was very neat and clean. If I had to be picky, the only two things I would mention is that the toaster didn't work properly and room service forgot to take the rubbish bag and left it on the kitchen floor. These are really minor things though and overall it was a great place to stay.
Very good location in Sydney cbd,walking distance to Darling Harbour & cbd shops. Due for an update and Parking an expensive extra.

Location is perfect - 5 minute walk to Darling harbour, 15-20 minutes to the Opera House and the Bridge. Rooms are small and noisy. We had a 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. As the hotel is very narrow from the 12th floor up there are only 5 rooms per floor which means all are close to the lift.
Signage over hotel is very small,difficult to locate hotel. Very good location.Staff very friendly and helpful. much better than lots of hotels as the units are quite spacious,and have a sofa bed.Spa bath in 1 BR unit. Very reasonably priced parking. Buffet breakfast enjoyable. Value for money,would return and recommend staying here.

Clean, tidy and functional - exactly what I would expect from a Mantra. Perfect location, fantastic price! No special facilities, but its more of a self-catered apartment than a hotel room. 1 block from Darling Harbour & 1 block from the Queen Victoria Building (and Town Hall station). Car Park next door. Its not the Hilton. Its not the Westin. You wont feel like you are surrounded by luxury - but if you want something central, comfortable & very affordable then this is perfect. Only negative - the building is very narrow & tall - i think only 5 rooms/floor. We were on the 25th floor and there are only 2 lifts... so at busy times you can expect a delay in getting up & down.
very handy to most things ,staff very obliging and willing to help .will gladly stay there again .
