no presure just good service relaxing place
Have stayed at this hotel before.Great in every respect however I shared a 1 bedroom apt with my adult son and requested a queen bed + sofa bed.On checking out I was asked to pay an extra $40 for the sofa bed despite the above configuration being one of the listed options. The charge was waived after I mentioned this.
Hotel was really nice. Stayed in a one bedroom apartmant. Room was massive :) would definitely stay again. Only down side was no balcony and couldn't get later check out. Had to leave at 11am next morning and due to everyone else doing the same thing, had to wait about 15 minutes for an elevator that wasn't full of people and bags. All in all would definitely stay again. HOT TIP: Also, if you park in the Wilson carpark next door, it was only $16 for 24hrs over a Saturday night. The hotel charges $30 a night so don't pay through them.
The hotel was very well placed for a 5-10 minute walk to Federation Square and was next to Chinatown. The room itself was very plain (few pictures, very dim electric & natural lighting and a carpet with an ultra dreary colour that seemed to suck further light out of the room), but it did have all the facilities we actually needed for our stay in good, clean working order. I wasn't too pleased to be charged $60 for 2 nights parking, which came as a complete surprise when I came to check out - it wasn't mentioned by the staff at check-in.
The best part of the apartment is it's ideal location (central of melbourne CBD)
First class establishment, the two rooms were a good fit for our family.
Great location. Fifteenth floor was quiet. Only down side was that the spa was out of order and there wasn't a hotel information book in the room.
Excellent reception staff
Had a great stay in Melbourne and the hotel was just great and the staff very helpful.
Our stay at the Mantra on Russell we could not fault staff were very helpful, location great close to all facilities ,we had a wonderful time, only place to stay in Melbourne The view from our room was magnificent.
Clean, pleasant and near everything in the city.
Great location, so near shops and China town restaurants. Beds were a bit too soft and I heard others complaining about them to staff at which they were told that all beds were the same so changing rooms would not make any difference.
One of the best hotel/apartments i have ever stayed in. If you want something that has it all, then look no further.
great hotel. Balcony not cleaned but room great
Pleasant stay, helpful/friendly reception. Would stay here again.
Excellent, would stay again. Highly recommended.
The only complaint I have about this hotel/apartments is that due to the location, the rooms are extremely noisy and obviously the windows are not thick enough to block out the outside noise throughout the night. If noise if a factor for you, avoid staying here, other than that, the location is good and the service and pricing is good.
Good value for money and location great for theatre district of Melbourne. Staff efficient but lacked the customer service skills that differentiate good accommodation from very good.....make that stay a little extra....
