Hotel rooms small but king size bed and comfortable.

Typical family-friendly beachside property. Friendly staff with a very helpful attitude. Ample parking. Restaurant options are limited but there are cafes and eating options available within a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel was very pleasant. Bed was very uncomfortable (Hard). The fridge froze anything that was in it. Bit surprised that there was no room service the next day in general making of bed and replacing of fresh towels. Overall it was relaxing and quite.

Great for families - felt welcomed with our 3 yr old who loved the pool and kid's play space at the hotel where we had lunch. Beach within easy walking distance & everything conveniently located in Salt Village. Room was very comfortable, modern & quiet. We will definitely be back.

We always stay at Mantra and Peppers and Kingscliff. The staff a great, the location you can not beat, the hotels are immaculately clean and well maintained. Service is Great, Local Surf Club Restaurant with Friendly Staff and Good Service. Peppers own Restaurant very nice, great local Gelato Store, we have stayed on 4 occassions and will continue to do so for years to come.

I paid top dollar for the xmas season the room wasn't ready, I thought I had requested a twin 1 brm apartment so the sofa bed had to be made up.There is no-one to help with your luggage and poor availability of luggage trolleys. The bathroom doors and laundry had dirt marks all over them I informed the staff nothing was done. The sofa bed was made up at no extra cost. The verandah was dirty as was the sun lounges- I was covered in dirt and my clothing. Around the pool the sun lounges were in poor condition a few of them broken which could create a health risk. I informed staff and they said they knew about it for a while but nothing had been done to repair them. I waited an hour and 20mins for 1 pizza the chef had placed 2 other orders in front of mine. They refunded my money. When I finally got the pizza the dough was raw and I threw it out. The bar staff don't know how to make cocktails. A very over rated resort which clearly needs some attention.

We found our stay to be perfect for our 25th wedding anniversery except the spa was part of the pool and a little chilly

Our 1 bedroom suite had everything you could want, including 2 TVs, a diswasher, clothes washer and dryer. The Mantra is right on a patrolled beach

If you can get a good special price thru a wholesaler, [websites] its great because otherwise it is too expensive. Its a lovely setting with beach or pool to choose from BUT pool is freezing in October and not heated. Limited foxtel and movies $14 each which should all be free. Thai restaurant is excellent. Sand bar very expensive,especially drinks. Units are lovely and location the best.2 bedroom not suitable for people with small children as 2nd room is seperated by 2 heavy self locking doors. Still loved the place and going back.

We were very impressed by Mantra on Salt. It was definitely value for money, and the staff were very obliging and friendly, we had a great time, and will look first at Mantra appts. next time we book a holiday or weekend away. Thank you very much

The Mantra was beautiful, the facilities were amazing, staff friendly & well presented, helpful etc. great location, right on the beach, plenty of places/tracks for walking & we even saw whales!!!

We booked a room using the last minute rates. We didn't expect the best room however the room was noisy and the bed was very uncomfortable. We have stayed at other hotels using last minute rates and the rooms have been a lot nicer. We will not return the Mantra based on this experience.

We booked a double room and upgraded to a spa. The double was actually 2 single beds pushed together so there was an uneven gap between us. The place is so big and they offer NO luggage trollies and your room is over the other side of resort so you need to make two trips to the car. The pay TV movies are only available in the lounge room not in the bedroom. They placed on the ground floor outside a stairwell hence we had millions of mosqitoes outside that obviously made their way in so the first night i had bites all over me. Our room backed onto a road so all we could hear was cars and people and the continual sound of trollies up and down the hall. We had to ask for fresh towels on our second night. I think when you are paying $160 a night you expect more than that! I would NEVER stay there again nor would I ever reccomend it anyone.

We found our stay both pleasent and enjoyable, and the staff friendly and professional, the service and facilities are equal to any resort we have stayed in our travels in Asia, and Europe. We will certainly recommend MANTRA ON SALT to our friends and family, and we plan to holiday at MANTRA in the near future.

Was disappointed with the king size bed really being two single beds placed together.I have never come across this in all my years of staying in rooms. This could never be comfortable. We will in future get a queen size bed. The food for breakfast was great but it was all cold except for the toast that we cooked ourselves. You need to work on keeping things hot. I would think most likely this would have rated high with the health department as things must be kept at a certain level when serving food. Other than that the venue and grounds could not be faulted. Thanking you
