Located within a quick stroll to the CBD, the hotel is also within walking distance of most of the major sporting venues including both the MCG and Hisense Arena to the east; and Crown Casino and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre to the west. The property offers one and two bedroom spacious, well-appointed apartments with modern amenities and most rooms boast stunning views of the city and nearby Melbourne Botanical Gardens. All rooms feature a lounge and dining area, Foxtel and digital channels, fully-equipped kitchen with full-size cook top, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher, laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, wireless internet access, ISD/STD direct dial phones, air-conditioning, sound system with CD player, some rooms with an ipod dock, pay movies, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities. Getting there:Hotel is on the corner of City Road and Fanning Street. From Melbourne Tullamarine Airport: Leave airport via exit that forms the Tullamarine Freeway. Continue down freeway over Bolte Bridge and take the next exit onto Westgate Freeway. Continue along and take the Power Street exit, turn right into City Road, next turn right into Southbank Boulevard and then next left into Kavanagh Street and left again into Fanning Street and left onto City Road.

Clean and tidy, good location for the Southbank of Melbourne. In room dining average.
The reception staff were very helpful and friendly on an incredibly busy weekend with a full house. There was no information folder about the apartments' facilities in our room as I usually expect so I had to ask reception about the pool and brekky- both were great. The room itself was clean but needed a bit of a paint job and the sofa bed was really uncomfy (lucky it was only for our 5 year old - I wouldn't want to sleep 2 adults on it as they suggest you can). Car parking is limited and really tricky if you've got a big car. There are 2 big public car parks across the road.

**DELUXE SOUTHBANK ACCOMMODATION** Our Two Bedroom Deluxe apartments all have two bathrooms and are located on the highest level of the hotel. Venture up to our pool area for either a swim, soak or workout then come back and relax on your private balcony.

This is my favourite apartment block in Melbourne. Well positioned, large rooms and comfortable beds.
The location was excellent, staff pleasant and obliging. Great to be able to spread out, rather than be cooped up in a (posher) hotel room, and to have cooking and laundry facilities for a slightly longer stay. City very accessible on foot or by the free tourist bus or tram. Recommended.

my family and i have stay at these apartments on a least 6 times in the last couple of years and dont bother looking at any others because for price and there facilities we are very satisfied also the location across the road to southbank is just a extra bonus
Fantastic,only thing was parking.First in best dressed but over all wasnt an issue. Recomend it to anyone.
Excellent location for attending the Arts Centre or Hamer Hall, just a 5 minute walk.
I found the hotel to be well appointed and the loaction was very central. I will be staying there again and recommend that any who is thinking of travelling to Melbourne do the same.

Great location - easy walking distance to city, MCG, Arts Centre and Southbank and casino. the apartments have evrything you need. We booked quite late but try to get an apartment with a balcony and bed bigger than double.
A great location, the rooms were very spacious with seperate kitchen and linge area. Loved the pool and spa would definetly return.
Room was clean and spacious. Indoor swimming pool was nice and as it was not deep, a great attraction for kids. Main gripe is that it is a bit of a walk to the City and Casino so pricing should be less to reflect this.
We have 3 boys who loved the hotel pool and the surrounding attractions. We we able to leave our car parked at the hotel after checkout. The hotel fully met the needs of our family during our holiday to the city.
Had to wait until 2.20 for room making us a little late for a wedding but its Spring Racing time so, to be expected. Large,clean apartment with everything you could possibly need. Stocked mini-bar, great air-con, undercover parking, great view of Arts Spire, fantastic location.

Mantra Southbank Melb is fantastic location easy access to Southgate, Southbank and City we really love being able to walk to everything and not use a car. Great dining choices. Room was very nice presented well, we stayed 1 bedroom apartment it would have been nice to have a balcony but we did get a lovely view of the Aust ballet school we enjoyed watching them practice every night before we went out for tea. Very quiet location even thou on City Rd very suprising. Would recommend it to anyone.
The Mantra Southbank is handily situated near to Crown Casino, and roughly 20 mins walk to both the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Telstra Dome. Trams and Flinders St station are also within a few minutes stroll. Despite its location on a main road, the apartment was peacefully quiet.
