Just 300 metres from the rolling surf and two minutes from the heart of Surfers Paradise, Mantra Wings is close to all the action and one of the most contemporary holiday resort apartment complexes on the Gold Coast. Built on the site of the iconic Pink Poodle Motel, the property offers spacious, self-contained One, Two and Three Bedroom Apartments or Two Bedroom Penthouses. All apartments and penthouses feature full kitchen and laundry facilities, air-conditioning, cable TV, internet access, stereo and spacious balconies with views across the Gold Coast and surrounds. Some of our apartments have an indulgent spa bath and this is available on request, however cannot be guaranteed. Alternatively book one of our Two Bedroom Penthouses which all offer spa baths and a little piece of luxury with a plasma television and stainless steel appliances The resort features a freeform heated lagoon style pool and waterfall, private heated spa grotto, full-size tennis court, fully equipped air conditioned gymnasium, steam room, children’s playground, barbeque facilities, porte cochere, grand lobby and secure undercover parking. Getting there:Located at the old Pink Poodle site on the corner of Fern Street and Gold Coast Highway. Pink Poodle sign is heritage listed and stands in its original position on the Highway.

Child Policy:Apartments will accommodate a maximum of one extra adult or one extra child charged at a night rate of $32.00 pr/nt. Cots and highchairs are available for rent from $32/wk. Pls contact resort directly to have cot/highchair waiting for you on arrival.
Very modern, excellent staff. All were lovely. Wish the reception hours were longer on w/ends, but overall beautiful place to stay. Very happy and would come back!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND RELAX, THE GYM NEEDS TO BE UPDATED, (MAX DUMBELL WIEGHT IS 20 Kg) PERHAPS HEAVIER WIEGHTS & BICEP CURL BAR.
Enormous rooms, nice facilities and wonderful pool area. Only problem was that it was a bit unclean in some places but still a great hotel.
Do not order from delivery menu on offer, we ordered from the Peacock Chineese restaraunt as a convience to have dinner delivered to our room and found the quality of food very poor. Although it was very expensive you do not get what u pay for! Our stay was for four days, three nights.
Great place to stay. Will definately be back if i need to stay at the gold coast again.
Couple of issues, Our king bed was made up of 2 singles which did not match up in height, Noise issue on balcony from hi way road noise. Other wise nice friendly place kept in tidy and clean condition all round.
We enjoyed the high quality accommodation at this facility. The room was well decked out with modern appliances. Views were great and staff very helpfull. Pity the spa/massage service had ceased recently.I highly recommend staying at Mantra Wings as we will be be back again.

We enjoy to stay at BreakFree- Wings Resort Gold Coast VERY much. This is our 2nd stay and it was just as pleasent as the first. It is in a great location, the service is wonderful and it has a good atmosphere. It is very safe for children of all ages. It is nice to walk to resturants the offer Great Dinning, Irish pub was fantastic & North Cliff surf club is always good. When going to the Gold Coast we would ONLY stay at this Resort.
I stayed in the 2 rooms apartment. Modern facilities. Comfotable and affordable price. Will stay again if visiting Gold Coast.
Fantastic place to stay,close to everything.Staff very friendly & helpful.Clean Spacious rooms& balconies. A Gym that has everything,tennis courts &25m lap pool.We were really impressed. Would DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.
Very nice room, very friendly and helpfull staff. The rooms facing the river (away from the coast) can get a bit noisy due to the traffic of the main road.
Breakfree Wings is a newly completed and modern apartment complex. Rooms are very spacious, great large balconies and well fitted out. There are no DVD players in the room, so bring your own or you can hire one from the hotel. Service was friendly and helpful, and the location is an approximate 20min walk from Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise, or 30 min to Pacific Fair shopping centre.
The only downside to the three bedroom apartment we had was that there is no fan or air-con in the bedrooms.
We had two single beds pushed together as a double. No restaraunt in the hotel.
The elevators and lobbies required air conditioning and extra toiletries should be free but other than that, everything was great!
The resort has something for everybody, from small children to adults and is very well looked after. It is within walking distance to the centre of Surfers Paradise.
Stayed 4 days (April '05) in 2 b/r appt 9th floor.Very roomy,big balcony,everything immaculate and new feeling.Handy location & great views.Friendly staff---would stay again at the drop of a hat!!
