Enjoy our family friendly accommodation situated at Lake Wanaka in New Zealand's beautiful South Island, an area that offers unspoilt natural beauty and a variety of things to do and see. Wanaka is a favourite holiday destination all year round attracting skiers in the winter season and those who come to enjoy the beautiful lakes and rivers in the warmer months. We are in a quiet location enjoying mountain views, including Treble Cone skifield. We are an ideal base for Wanaka as we are situated 1.5kms from the town centre, a short 15 minute stroll into town. We offer 12 spacious, well-appointed units, ranging from family apartments to studios, sleeping 1-6. Guest facilities include large outdoor seating areas with BBQ, laundry, ski drying room with waxing facilities and in-ground swimming pool. Our units have a modern decor with Sky TV, full kitchen facilities, telephone and electric blankets. We are pet friendly.

Getting there:From the lake front leave town with the Lake on your left (Lakeside Drive) this continues into Beacon Point Road, after 1.5km turn right into Plantation Road and first left into Manuka Crescent. The motel is on your right hand side
Check-in Procedure:Check in after 2pm. We operate restricted office hours May June October November when the office is open 9am to 6pm so please list cell phone number in order that we may contact you to arrange your check in . All other times of the year late arrivals after 8pm please call and arrange for keys etc. Check-out is 10am unless by prior arrangement.
Car parking:Car parking available outside of all units.

Spacious studios with a king bed and a single bed or a queen bed and a single bed with one access studio which has a Queen bed. All studios have a bathroom and a kitchen area and are fully self contained

The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Price is excellent for the Wanaka area. There were a few niggles: showerhead has a very low flow, only one towel and one facecloth was provided for each guest, and the beds were very saggy. But overall quite a good experience for the price. We would definitely stay there again.
Service was so warm, that we were running late for the check in and motel staff have left the keys to the room door and left a note on the reception door for us to collect the keys. But no Internet, and location is bit far from the town center and with very small heater.
Quiet location, away from town so a good nights sleep is likely, depends on the sound levels from adjacent occupants. All in all, good value for money, although no rugby chanel on sky, soccer only!

The Motel was quiet and in a good location.The facilites were good, we enjoyed the outdoor table/chairs outside our room and utilised them for meals. The staff were friendly and helpful,we would recommend it as a well priced motel.

Not sure it deserves the 3 and half stars the write up reports.The signs threatening fines for numerous things were not a all welcoming.We would not stay here again.
We found the owner/operator very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was really good and about a half hour walk from the town centre.

The fact that animals are allowed to stay and the motel is in such good condition is just such a blessing to the owners and the facility. In my eyes it caters for all and should be a 5 star A+++++ well done guys..... feels like home away from home
