"Reception staff were very helpful in directing us to the nearest multi-storey car parking facility - parking around the hotel is plentiful but you have to get there early!! We booked a basic interior room without a balcony but were very pleasantly surprised when the rooms we were allocated had a wonderful sea view with a balcony, what a bonus! The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the only thing lacking was a hair dryer. However, reception supplied one, without charge, on request. The Breakfast buffet had a good selection with something for everyone, be aware there is a dress code - at breakfast gentlemen are not allowed in wearing vest type tops and likewise ladies cannot enter in just a bikini top. Hotel description:

Totally renovated in 2002, the welcoming Hotel Marconi rests on the seafront, alongside Poniente Beach and only 100m from the Old Town area and harbour.

It is well suited for couples and families looking for a well appointed centrally located hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and two steps away from the beach.

The Old Town offers a lively atmosphere of typically Spanish “tapas” bars, sea food restaurants and shops. The hotel is perfect to explore this area, yet only 150mts. from the busy city centre and Levante beach. Other interesting points or leisure areas are easy to get to from the hotel, due to the good connection with public transport.

Its 103 rooms are decorated in a fresh and functional style and are equipped with all necessary to make your stay the most pleasant. There are different room prices depending their location: front sea view rooms or exterior rooms (some with lateral sea view), both with furnished balcony. Interior rooms look over the hotel patio (with reduction in price).

The café-bar offers excellent sea views, while the roof top terrace and pool invite you to relax and enjoy the amazing panoramic views of the resort and bay. There is also a TV lounge and a non-smoking dining room where all meals are buffet service.
What is also special about Hotel Marconi is the friendly atmosphere. Experience and tradition are combined to ensure you have a special holiday. No wonder why most of its guests return year after year!

Getting there:

By car, from Alicante: come following directions to Valencia, on motorway no. AP7. When getting near Benidorm (signed posted), take exit no. 65A to Benidorm-PONIENTE. After toll, follow signs to Benidorm city centre ('centro ciudad'). Drive along Poniente beach on Avenue "Avenida de la Armada Española", at the end of promenade follow signs for "Parque de Elche" (Dove Park) and harbour "puerto". The easiest is to turn right at "Telepizza" and then right again. You need to be aware of directions of streets to get to hotel entrance, as it is on the sea front and you need to drive around the back of the hotel to get to it.

There are nearby public car parks (approx. 150mts away) that offer 24hr. car parking facilities by rental and plenty of free street parking and pay to park falilities all around the hotel too.
