All was fine. If you love being near boats and water, it is the place for you. Not much view on the back side, so ask for marina view.
Our stay at Marina Del Mar was good. Most of the staff was quite pleasant and accommmodating. Jeanette and Napoleon were great. Needed to ask for pots and pans, were not in the kitchenette studio when we checked in. A liitle tricky finding the place, had to stop and ask for directions. Would stay again if in the area.

This is best if you have a boat to dock........or you want to go sailing/fishing/snorkeling at the reefs..... if not, it's a neat and comfortable place but expensive. Internet didnt work in the room and they didnt know how to help. Breakfast was frozen (microwave) continental....could be better

The restaurant and bar/disco Coconuts, which is part of the resort, is a fun place with music, dancing and video game entertainment. Lovely views of the marina from the restaurant and bar.
Ask for room on the canal side of the hotel.....much nicer view and no difference in cost. While room was very clean, it showed signs of aging.
Some difficulty with check-in as the hotel did not recieve confirmation of our online registration. Fortunately it was not a busy time and they had a room available otherwise we may have found ourselves without anywhere to stay. The hotel was right on marina canal in Key Largo with full access to the boardwalk on the canal. The pool was large and heated although could use some upgrades and the hot tub was very small. The onsite bar and restraunt was excellent, great food, good service and great drink prices during "happy hour". Also live entertainment which added to the festive atmosphere. Lots of local shopping and activities available within a short distance and all in all a good experience. Would definitely recommend the Resort to friends.
I enjoyed my stay in the hotel very much.
Mediocre b'fast buffet. Dogs allowed and plentiful. Nice pool. Nightclubs on both ends.
