The hotel seemed to be at a point where a refurb was in order. The furniture had tears in the seating paint work was chipped carpets in hall ways were not clean and had rips. The swimming pool was not clean and the spa pool had the switch to turn it on missing. The location was great for us but I would not stay again.
very enjoyable, lovely views, wish we stayed longer, will highly recomend

Reasonable hotel, good value for money, especially given we stayed on one of the busiest weekends of the year on the Gold Coast. Location is a bit out of the way and a little difficult to find, takes about 25 minutes to drive to the coast itself. The room was clean and well presented (appeared to have been recently repainted) however, the linen was quite worn, especially the towels, one of which had a 10cm rip in it. Breakfast was included in room price but was lacking in variety and at 8am on Sunday morning most of the hot food had run quite low and the fruit patter on the buffet was empty apart from two pieces of watermelon. Would consider staying again if looking for a cheap overnight stay on a weekend, however, at less peak times hotels closer to Surfers Paradise would probably be better value.
It is a nice place for a low key, quiet holiday. Difficult to get around without own transport. friendly, happy and oblidging staff.
For the price a great hotel. Well located for the Gold Coast theme parks. Very quiet marina-side location
For what I paid, very average. Very basic room. Location is no good unless you have car.
Very difficult to find, Hotel in middle of a Marina/Industrial Area, badly sign posted
Location is not good for public transport user. However, is ok if you rent a car. Less than 10 mins to Movieworld and 20 mins to Surfers Paradise by car.
Nice large room with private balcony overlooking a marina. Great place to wind down and relax away from the busy beach suburbs. Excellent value for money. Only downsides were it's location in terms of finding the hotel... it would have been almost impossible to find without the GPS, no web acess in the room, premises could do with a small facelift but apart from that we would stay there again.
End 2 corridor rooms are outside the sealed aircond hotel area and very hot. Aircon was useless and no batteries in remote(another trip to reception) but balcony had nice breeze. Swipe card would not work requiring constant trips down to reception every time to get new card.Severely understaffed at breakfast area and reception. Poor in room amenities/small TV
Poorly signposted to get there from the MI for drivers. No motel map guide, or written information about dining options.
Will go there again and recommend it to everyone.
Spacious room, Helpful staff. Good quiet location.
Becomming run down. Very difficult to find. Could be excellent with some TLC
Friendly / helpful staff, rooms lack maintenance and not clean, perfect location if you don't want the noise from Surfers Paradise.
Hotel was nice but had low occupancy and it appeared they were trying to save on maintenance. TV was faulty, towels were threadbare, air conditioning made clicking noise, circuit breaker tripped and had to be reset.
We enjoyed our stay and particularly liked the live entertainment. It was difficult to find (at night) and access to the room from the car park was tedious. Very good layout of room and room aspects were very good. We enjoyed walking along the quay and felt safe while strolling along.
looking a bit shabby now, however was convenient for our needs at the time!
Air conditioner didn't work properly, security lock on door broken, bathroom window didn't lock at all - all in all a pretty ordinary room - thankful I didn't pay full price.
This property can be a bit hard to find and almost impossible at night. So make sure you have done your homework on its location. Otherwise thoroughly recommend. Large rooms great staff.
