Our recently refurbished motel consists of 23 quiet ground floor units, some of which are air-conditioned one of which is specifically designed and appointed as an access unit. There is also a near new 2 storey, 3 bedroom luxury Apartment. The complex also provides a large indoor heated salt water swimming pool that is available to motel guests all day weekends and Public holidays and outside learn to swim classes that run Mon – Fri. (ie 7am – 9.30am, 12-1pm and 4.30pm- 9pm) but if you can't access the pool when you want to, advise reception and we will provide you with a free pass to Napier's own, Ocean Spa a commercial swimming complex with a variety of pools. We are also the home of the award winning Estuary’s A-La-Carte fully licensed family restaurant, all within the boundary of the complex. The children’s playground consists of slide, 2 swings, horizontal ladder and trampoline and there is an Aviary containing Finches, Budgies, Quail and Cockatiels The complex is situated across the road from Napier’s only safe swimming ocean beach on one side and a picturesque tidal Estuary/Marina on the other, both areas having available safe, interesting and scenic walks that are commenced from your unit We are also within easy walking distance of many of Napier’s most popular bars and cafe’s, yacht and fishing clubs

Getting there:From the North, travel south through the small township of Bayview. Continue south till you come across Napier Airport (which will be on your right), the next intersection (approx. 500m south of the airport entrance) is Meeanee Quay. Turn left onto this road. The Motel is approx. 900m along Meeanee Quay on your left - just before you cross a bridge From the South, Follow all signs to Napier Airport (avoid the road called MEEANEE RD) use the city bypass routes where possible and to do so keeps you on the outskirts of the City. Having passed through 2 round-a-bouts you now need to take the next right which takes you into Meeanee Quay. Continue down this Quay approx. 900m where you will find the Motel on your left before crossing a bridge Alternative to the above, go to Motel website, booking page and take instructions from the Google Map

The hosts were lovely people and the whole stay was very enjoyable

These lovely suites have now all been fully rebuilt, furnished and air-conditioning equipped. Their new beds, bathrooms with the latest of appointments and new kitchenette are ideal for a couple who want a break-a-way from home for a few days or just a night over. They are a little smaller than the executive suites but are presented with essential overnight amenities. They are positioned in a very quiet quiet part of the motel complex and their soft interior decor tonings are the ideal place for a rest to recharge your batteries
This is a lovely quiet, tastefully decorated & spacious fully self contained Executive Studio unit equipped with comfortable lounge furniture, new 32" LCD TV (6 Sky Channels) plus DVD, Queen or Superking bed plus a single bed and the en-suite contains the new satin jet shower over the Spa. It has its own private courtyard at the rear with a Lemon tree for the G&T. The all weather heated swimming pool is close by

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent - it was a shame we couldn't spend more than one night there.
Excellent communication on arrival, prompt servicing and altogether could not fault this accommodation. Nice to hear the manager praise his staff for being a 'consistently good team'
Lovely refurbished unit - everything very clean and attention to detail good. Ideal for a night or two in Napier.
Big bed, spa bath, comfortable suite and swimming pool made this a pleasant stay. The reception staff were obliging, the location suited us (close to the beach) and it was quiet. reasonable value for money.
Great place and wonderful hospitality by the oweners who went out of their way to be helpful, including running me to the airport at 6.20am!!
The room was a bit small if anything otherwise ok & parking was limited.
This was a nice place to stay as it was nice and close to the beach and not far into the town.
The Motel was clean and well presented. The service desk was friendly and helpful. The attached restaraunt was very clean and the meal provided was at good price, tasty and well presented and the front of house most accomodating. Would happily return.
Nice helpful people, close to harbour so very handy location wise for us.
The motel owners made my family and I feel at home the moment we arrived! The serice and food was amazing and I would definitly stay there again, it's not often you get a satisfying feeling staying away from home but this place is definitly a home away from home AAAA++++
